#Wii not booting to menu after installing bootmii
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Did it just boot to the bootmii menu?
no
what did it boot to
when the sd was in, it wouldn't boot at all and when it was out, it booted to system menu
You can configure Bootmii to autoboot to the system menu
Open sd:/bootmii/bootmii.ini with a text editor like notepad
Replace #AUTOBOOT=SYSMENU with AUTOBOOT=SYSMENU (basically just deleting the #)
Then replace #BOOTDELAY=5 with BOOTDELAY=1 (deleting the # and turning the 5 into a 1)
This will make it so you don't notice you even have Bootmii on boot2
the issue is that it didn't boot at all with the sd card in, not that the bootmii menu didn't show up.
Just do it, it might work
w8
just realized I can't do that 8c I can't load it with the sd card in
I mean should I try a different sd?
you can just do str2hax
You don’t need to do an exploit if you already have hbc
ah
- Get the Hackmii installer here: https://bootmii.org/download/ Extract the .zip file, copy the HackMii Installer folder to your apps folder. You can make a folder called apps if it does not exist already. Then run the HackMii Installer via the homebrew channel to install Bootmii to IOS and boot2 if you can.
did you prepare for this again...
I have a lot of notes
And I’m still missing some for certain topics
be prepared
put your sd back in so it "doesn't boot at all"
then press reset, what happens
yeah just hold the reset
i said press not hold but ok
damn
should I reinstall everything or just boot2?
ok
just boot and ios
k reinstalling did not work
should I try uninstalling boot2?
what if you just let your wii sit when its stuck not booting
this used to happen to me and i think it was because my bootmii.ini was corrupt
