Good evening, I've been trying to use Nintendont for a few days without success.
If I launch the game from USB Loader GX the Wii stays on a black screen
If I launch Nintendont from Homebrew Launcher, the game starts if I don't change any settings, when I try to enable simulated saves, it doesn't work anymore
What can I do? Thanks in advance for your availability

P.S. Pen Drive Verbatim 32gb formatted in FAT32 - cluster 32kb, Nintendont v6.500, USB Loader GX r1281

How it "doesn't work anymore"?

It went black screen also in that case

I redid everything from scratch (cios and homebrew), now it seems to work by launching Nintendont from Homebrew Channel, but from USB Loader GX it still doesn't work

Even if launching it with memory card emulation from nintendont itself works?

Now yes, I wrote it all while trying

This may be related to the settings of GX

However I can launch Nintendont ONLY from homebrew launcher, I had also installed a forwarder because I was giving up with USB Loader GX, in this case Nintendont remains stuck on the "Waiting for Nintendont..." screen

either that or the fact that you are using a flash drive

But I don't understand why it works from Homebrew Channel and from USB Loader GX it doesn't, if it didn't work from HBC either I blamed the pen drive

Because Gx is usually more picky with them

#

if you can do get much done by veryfing the settings you cant do much about it then

#

unless you switch to a HDD (which is more recommended and reliable)

Okay, thanks for now

Another "strange" thing I noticed is that the Wii often freezes (Eg I open USB Loader GX, from there I try to go back to the system menu and the Wii freezes in black screen)

The Wii is second hand and was previously modded, what if the old owner did some damage with the cios?

It might have old iOS. In that case, To help troubleshoot your issue please run Syscheck and test all IOS on your Wii by following this guide:
https://wii.guide/syscheck

When it's done it will generate and display a syscheck.csv file.

If you have an SD, power down the Wii and insert the SD into a PC. Drag and drop the syscheck.csv file from the root of your SD into chat.

If you don't have an SD, you might get an error. Just continue until the report is displayed. You will need to upload the report and link the URL to chat or take photos of the entire report.

Go into Wii mod lite, select iOS, delete slots 202,224,236,246,247,248, and 252
