How do I launch the Priiloader installer?

The Priiloader installer isn't showing up for me when I press the home button when on the homebrew channel, the buttons show, "back, about, launch bootmii, exit to system menu, shutdown." I already downloaded and extracted the priiloader installer to the root of my sd card. I'm following the instructions here https://wii.guide/priiloader

You extracted the apps folder correct?

yes it gave me a zip file and I extracted it and put it in the root of the sd card

Is anything else being recognized by the homebrew channel that is on the SD card?

Just seeing if the SD card may be at fault

the only thing i've done with the sd card is use it to download bootmii

Assuming the file paths are correct, which is Root-apps-priiloader-(files), i do not know what could be causing that issue specifically unless HBC isn’t detecting the SD card for whatever reason

You can try using a USB drive to do it if you have access to one.
