what happens if you set a password on your phone
i just want to lock my wii from my little brother

ok
smartest recroom player
uhhh failed to mount fat device
i have my sd in
uh oh
oh ok its just the sd port being a dick
oh
if it still doesn’t mount reinstall priiloader (i think)
nah thats for system menu hacks
and i need a password.txt file
oh you gotta create one? let me look into the option
also make sure the sd card is unlocked
on a bit of a tangent, seems quite insecure to store the password unencrypted on the sd
it is unlocked
this should work
this thing is strange
anyways gotta make a password.txt
mmm
@long edge also turn on protect priiloader&protect autoboot
in settings
real
same thing when booting to sysmenu?
no
ok dont for a minute
password.txt didnt read priiloader
and i only have block disc autoboot hack
setting password can lock me out only if i know the password
you can’t be locked out, password is stored unencrypted for some fucking reason on the sd
i had to make it all caps in the txt file
it gets copied to the nand
couldnt open password.txt for reading
you made one on your sd?
yes
and you're sure it's not named password.txt.txt?
is show file extensions on
UPDATE: i setted up my password
And we needed to know this why
because they wanted to set it up
