Will I need to update the mods on my wii to install Wiimmfi and Riiconnect 24?

The install of the homebrew channel is older, will I need to remod the wii for it?

The wii is on 4.3E

I know for a fact priiloader has an option for an automatic wimmfi patch but idk about having to remod your Wii

So if you have priiloader already update that

You should be able to install riiconnect24 fine i believe

use an exploit of your choice

I read this thread because those days I'm asking myself the same. Why reinstalling (remodding) the wii again? What are the pros of an update, if the games are running and there are no significant issues? Maybe I'm wrong, but I think, if everything is good why change, with the risk of breaking something?

I mean some people are still not on 4.3 so they can’t have the updated cios and the updates probably contain a lot of safety features

You should probably talk to someone smarter than me about that. Are you on system 4.3?
