#Wii Remotes won't connect

Not going to lie, it's probably been about a year or more since I've touched my wii and not sure if I'm just being an idiot. I have priiloader and wiiflow installed on my wii and neither of my controllers are connecting. I've tried a usb keyboard and that isn't working either. Is there any way I can fully reset the loaders / get my remotes to work?

Thanks so much ๐Ÿ™‚

Just press the red button on the Wii once, do not hold. Then press the red button on the Wiimote once, do not hold.

If Priiloader is autobooting to WiiFlow then you can try holding reset while powering on.

Select System Menu in Priiloader.

Use the POWER and RESET buttons on your console, or a GameCube controller plugged into port 1. To navigate between options, press POWER on your Wii (or up/down on the +Control Pad on a GameCube controller). To select an option, press RESET on your Wii or A on your GameCube controller.

Once the system menu or health and safety screen loads you should be able to sync your remote.

If the buttons on the Wii aren't working to navigate Priiloader or you don't have a gamecube controller it's possible you're on an outdated version of Priiloader. I think you'll need a GameCube controller to fix it.

It boots either to WiiFlow where keyboard won't work and controllers won't connect and then on Priiloader nothing is working either

#

Very strange, don't know if I'll be bothered to try and source a gamecube controller

#

rip the wii

#

I never get to the health and safety screen which is annoying

#

Just straight to wiiflow and can't move anything to click any buttons

#

Thanks for the advice anyway, I will certainly retry all the above steps but doubt I'll have much luck

@clever finch
Try unplugging the SD and or USB hard drive then start the wii

#

This should boot it to the Wii menu

#

Wonder if u on an old version of Wiiflow too

#

You'll need to buy a GameCube controller if you don't have one then

@mortal sleet Sorry for the ping but I thought I'd thank you for the help, never would've thought of using a GameCube controller, worked a charm

#

Connected it, worked straight away and as soon as I could boot into the wiimenu, my controllers connected straight away ๐Ÿ’€

#

Weird issue but thanks again ๐Ÿ™‚
