#More Consistent, Simple Display of System Stats

One issue I encounter frequently in #help-channel is new players asking if a system is good and then posting a screencap of the least-informative stats display, because where the game displays critical stats isn't consistent across all subsystems. For many the most important stats are in the stats window of their Q menu, but as one example APS's stats window is borderline useless for troubleshooting. The hover-over popup and the shell customizer are far more important for seeing if an APS gun is optimized. Making the way the game displays information in popups and the Q-menu tabs more consistent across all systems, and prioritizing those stats regarded as most critical by the playerbase (balanced loaders/inputs/cooling/recoil/rail charge on APS, P/EPV and P/EPM on engines, etc.) could ease the learning curve.

Some of the yellow and red warning highlighting could also benefit from an update. I submitted a suggestion a while back about downgrading the no-motor warning on batteries from red to yellow or removing it entirely because it's not a critical fault, and on the other hand it might be good if APS detected inconsistent clip counts, grossly imbalanced loaders/cooling etc. and warned the player about it. Even unusually bad PPV×PPM on an engine might merit a built-in warning. Really any common new-player advice for which there is a broad consensus among the experienced playerbase could be baked in to the tutorials or tooltips, like explicitly telling the player that RTG's aren't good for most combat vehicles in the build-menu description.

similarly, rearranging the stats screen on the aps shell setup to better reflect the shell's function

#

right now kdap is at the bottom with firepower per shell near the top, which i've seen throw a lot of newer people off, while also being inconvenient for veteran players looking for the more relevant damage values

Also fuel engines should show whole-engine stats on hover of any component.

Or at least the stable power figure.
