I really like playing this game but I've noticed a lot of time my ears get fatigued after building or testing my designs out. Chief offenders are CJE's and high caliber advanced cannons, specifically 499 and 500mm. I mainly use 445mm because it's much easier on the ears. Seems to take a lot of the high end "crack" out of the guns. Cram cannon "ching" is also quite grating over time, especially for smaller gauge guns. Even particle cannons have a big "crack" in the high end which can be irritating.
I know there's probably a realism angle here, if you stood next to a giant cannon it would probably give off an earsplitting crack and nuke your hearing instead of being a satisfying "boom", but I really dont want to feel like I have to play the game super quiet to avoid hurting my ears.
Also, I would love cannons to be much deeper and massive sounding, there should be a wow factor when firing max gauge advanced cannons and cram cannons. Currently they just sound irritating which is a shame.
