i just want a grated catwalk block for deco tab so i can have a transparent block on the engine bay while keeping things looking industrial
cranes, masts, all kinds of uses, post an image of a use case for a catwalk block or just photos of catwalks in general to contribute
also, if you have a replacemet for this, please do tell

Batteries aren't transparent but their texture is good for settings where that's less important.
Some of the muzzle brake options can also work when flattened.

or, and hear me out: we could have a block/texture that fulfills thi purpose so we dont need to spend 45 minutes in what could be a 15 second 5 meters span of stairs

for what its worth you can use hologram projectors to get a flat image of it

well currently the alternative is spamming 50 thousand tiny decos
so i think a pretty reasonable option in the meantime while this doesnt exist is to use hologram projectors

at least a texture with transparencies so we can jus make a mimic plate, add the texture and, voila! catwalk
it's quite low effort and it fills a gap in the decoes

yes, i do believe that this would be a great low effort way to do it, i would still prefer a de decated block, even if a grating texture would be really useful
