#AI Targeting Debug Option

It could also show you the priority of a target and the areas of the target so you can make sure it's set up correctly instead of doing it through trial and error.
doesn't the AI detection options have this already
If I does then I've never figured out where it says this, and even then I more want a better visualization of it
It should be as easy as pressing the display movement button
ai targets clusters or hot blocks, you can't tell it to aim at weapons
target prioritization affects what vehicle becomes the primary target, and you can see the score of each vehicle in play by pressing q on the target prio card while enemies are present
what blocks a vehicle target are determined by the aimpoint card, and that targets clusters (takes 10 random blocks and selects one in the middle of them all) or hot blocks (blocks that have a temperature stat, like custom jet engines, steam boilers and heat decoys)
i think you might've confused the two since target prio has nothing to do with aimpoint
and you can't tell the ai to prioritize certain parts of an enemy outside of aiming at clusters of blocks or hot blocks
you can also make your weapons shoot at the enemy center of mass using breadboard aiming I suppose
Not exactly
that's exactly what it does... it determines which enemy the ai fights
The target prioritization can give a vehicle a bias in its aim
I’ve seen this first hand and all of my vehicles make use of this
no
no???
that is not how the ai works
this is not a thing
target prioritization has 0 affect on aimpoints
yeah, aimpoint is what ai shoots at, prio is who
Try setting your target prioritization card to max on all weapons and firepower
like on an anti air mainframe you'd set the prio to -0.1 blocks and 1 speed to shoot at small flying things
Trust me, it works
i think I'll trust the people who programmed the game instead
it will prioritize the enemy in play with most weapons and firepower
cause that's what target pro does
determines which enemy you fight
anyway i think i saw somewhere a way to look at the aimpoint???
at least i saw someone with an outline of the block being targeted, probably just schizophrenia
When I get up later I’ll make a video demonstrating this phenomenon
no need because we know that's not how the game works
you're either using clusters and shooting at large weapons systems with lots of blocks, or its confirmation bias
or its random chance
I swear on my combined 7,000+ hours of playing the game, I’m telling the truth here
FTD schizophrenia takes many forms...
Oh my god, why are y’all so against this? You can see it for yourselves if you just try it
just ask Sean next time he's online if target prio has anything to do with aimpoint
because its just false?
