Couldn't figure out compressor settings that didn't kill the track, so i just threw a hard limiter on master and called it a day.
Since the drums are center but everything else is spread it sounds very different in mono. I don't hate it but i'm wondering if there's a better way to work with centered sounds.
The real stars of the show are Slew Distortion and Granular Pitch Shifter. Looking to improve further on sound design in the future.

Very nice ^^ The drums being centered is a choice then ? Or could you expand them to stereo ? (I can't remember if there is such an effect in LMMS) Or maybe just expand the reverb to stereo to create more of a spatial sound. Otherwise it's really nice, I like how it gradually builds up !

zyn padsynth with amplitude lfo
automated the filter cutoff, plus a bit of calf reverb

love to see some IDM/Braindance in LMMS!!
some stereo to synths is not bad in any ways, just keep the low ends in mono

oh so the bass should be centered along the kick?
and the hats spread to fill space?
