This is my first time using Lmms and I've encountered this problem while trying to recreate a song. Does anybody also have this problem?
Is there any way to overcome this? Is it just a skill issue or a DAW issue? (yes i know that the lead is off pitch)

no offense but yeah, that's just a skill issue
try downloading the original track and listening to it alongside your track in LMMS and see how you can make it more accurate
