If I do, it's even simpler:
Application could not be started, or no application associated with the specified file.
ShellExecuteEx failed: File not found.
remote plugin died! invalidating now.
which I assume means it couldn't even find wine, let alone start a dll. It also hangs LMMS btw.
Do you have WINE9?
You cant use that
If you want to use Wine9 you may need to compile from source.
Why not tho?
Anyways, how do I downgrade (or, better, install alingside) wine on arch?
Sorry i have no insight in differences between various Linux distributions. My best advise is to contact your distros packman, and ask what WINE options you have. I believe the devs behind WINE jumped from 6.x to 9.0 (?)
Check with your packman what WINE-version he would recommend and how to get rid of 9,0
Since this definitively is a thing, i will reach out to our Linux-wizz' and recommend a guide in docs
