Is there anything I can do to improve the drums?

I have little to no experience with drums, am I mixing them correctly?

for rock drums like this, it's important to compress and put plenty of distortions on without destroying the sounds too much. i think kinda heavy compression -> slight distortion/saturation -> eq -> reverb would be good. also the instrumental is lacking bass

Any tips for Bass? I'm new to rock music

most of the times just doing eight notes playing the bass note of the chord progression is enough, but you can vary the rhythm if you want, make sure to also put it through a bass amp too. using a "bass guitar" soundfont should be enough.
