I'm going back and forth on if the mix sounded too muddy or if I just rode the line close enough to where it wasn't a problem. Figured I should get some outside opinions.

imo it doesn't sound particularly muddy - more like it is lacking some clarity and brightness in the high end. i think that buzzy bass synth is taking up a bit too much room in the highs and drowning out some details from other instruments, including the snare.
try a high shelf EQ boost on your guitars from like 1khz and up to see if that gives some more bite

sounds better to me now. could possibly go even a bit harder with that high shelf perhaps. good call on changing the reverb too
