Do you do this:
Turn HW-Keyboard OFF & and remove power cable.
Then shut down computer -completely -Pull the plug!
Then
insert midi-conector cable (midi-to-USB-cable)
insert keyboard power-cable and turn it ON
(some lights should get lid)
THEN!
Insert pc power cable!
Start PC
start LMMS
Look for your Keyboard in menu
Thank you for helping me but it still not working. Maybe because I don't no wich one I have to choose
@slim ridge
wich one I have to choose
The one you got. Isent your keyboard in in the drop-down?
You connect the piano to a track through this:
.
If there isn't a submenu under those, it means your piano isn't being seen by LMMS. Make sure it's plugged in before starting LMMS, and make sure that the OS sees it as a MIDI device.
I think the OS doesnt see it as an midi advice
Because it is pluged in
I mean you can't plug it in after LMMS starts because it won't auto-update MIDI devices (yet)
Ik
I did that
Is the chromebook finding it as a midi device?
where can i see that
You can see if this site works to test it https://latouchemusicale.com/en/tools/web-midi-test-keyboard/
That's if chrome is set up to allow web midi connections
Thats how it looks for me?...
Okay, MIDI keyboard detected so that means it is recognized.
good news
Then in LMMS you can try to connect the MIDI input to the track
It still looks like this
What is your audio backend set to now?
whats an audio bakend😕
I linked to the comment you made with a picture
Try changing it to ALSA Raw-MIDI and after a restart if it comes up. If not, then try changing to Jack-MIDI.
restart the app or the chromebook?
Maybe LMMS just doesn't recognize the piano for some reason. 😦
Is it possible for you that we do an call an i show you on screenrecording i am not sure if i did everything rigt
If you set the interface and restarted LMMS and then it's still not coming up, not sure what else to try at the moment.
ok
