Anybody know how the data that goes to the clipboard when you copy notes on the piano roll is stored?
I would like to write a simple script in Python that will help me automate the playing of realistic guitar chords. But I don't know if I'll be able to copy notes to the piano roll from an external application.

I'm fairly certain for the piano roll LMMS uses an internal clipboard
