it's missing the new microtune window

and I'm pretty sure that theme doesn't work on nightly

try installing the stable and nightly version and see if still happens

If you have had a flawed installation it is not enough to re-install, you have to move the DOT-configuration file away from your main LMMS directory
So
• Back-up your own stuff!
• Un-install current installation
( Re)move the config dot-file :
• Goto C:\Users<Username>
There you have a file named .lmmsrc.xml Windows wont let you delete it, so move it!

Mallets works on ALL the versions over here lol
