Open to feedback on my first music in LMMS

"my" in quotes since I did copy a melody, but I only did that to get the hang of the program. I tried giving it a '70s cop show' vibe, and I personally think it turned out well considering I know nothing about music theory or instruments in general lmao. Just looking for feedback, that's all :)

sounds kinda empty, add some strings and other background stuff in the intro

Never heard it but yea I'll give it a shot

My main goals with this song were to
1: make it sound not that bad
2: use only free plugins, no midi devices, and only tune it by ear (painful but it worked in the end)
3: replicate the theme I was going for

Oh and also just learn the program lol

I wish I had an midi device, doing the notes by hand is kinda annoying

technically you can use a computer keyboard as a midi device but its kinda sucky

But tbh I don't know if a midi keyboard would actually help much for me

I just listen to it and try and find what sounds right, so all that the keyboard would do is limit how far my hands can go to reach the notes lmao

try out some OTT to help even out the frequency range. but that is EXTREMELY creative for your first song in LMMS.
