just a question but how did you get dexed on LMMS? isnt it vst3?
you also can use samples as the melody, but attack is needed
this archive has 8 sounds where some of them are melodic (flute, sphere, lead, bass guitar) + some percussion for future tracks if you need it
hey sorry for pinging you but im just repeating a question that i havent got an answer on: how did you get dexed on LMMS? isnt dexed vst3?
the only downside is that the track is very samey throughout. i like the melody work a lot though.
maybe a simple arpeggio from synth1 would be a suitable background sound
as for the melody, I'm not sure. I'm thinking more of a lowpassed and bitcrushed sine wave to fit the retro aesthetic.
synth1 is my fave i swear 🙂
got a song as an example where it shows? im curious
there is a vst3 and vst option
ah, I'll see if i can find one XD. its difficult to think of on off the top of my head
personally what's throwing off the lead sound for me is how harsh the attack is
not sure what you have access to in all of your vsts but i would want a similar feel to like a violin for that - notes that fade in a little, sustain fairly evenly, maybe a little tremolo/vibrato
Agreed
what website? im on http://asb2m10.github.io/dexed/ and i got the vst3 option, cant see the vst option anywhere
