#any ideas on how to make this song hit harder?

yee, i was thinkng of using maybe a trance-ish kick
It could work.
I wonder if anybody else has to say about it. Like @fleet turtle and @limber horizon. They're somewhat in the know about DnB in general. Maybe they might know a thing or two about skullstep DnB.
ok
if you want it harder, the kick could use some low end boom. I feel like this is fine for the style it's in already but you could either layer or change your kick to have more sub. The rest of the track is about as high-energy as it gets
distortion/saturation in moderation always helps
@bleak narwhal Just to make sure, do you see the feedback? Because I kinda agree with it.
In any case, again...I concur. This could use a kick with a little more low-end to mix with the bass.
so, in which kck, the second one?
I think he was talking the first one and...yeah...maybe the second drop as well.
i wanted to upload an update, but it crashed, lol
tfw your internet connection is so shit it causes your entire end of Discord to crash
nop, lmms crashed, discord its fine tho
put a pandora burst like a bass
Can you clarify? Because I don't think Nyan knows what a Pandora burst is.
this sound
A synth horn? As a bass? Not so sure about that.
yes
something like that
yes
Some small adjustments and you're good to go. Pretty nice job.
like which changes
I think the ending is a bit loud, but it could just be me.
ok thx
I would maybe try to get rid of some of the resonance on the starting sound in the track. or high end
Yeah, I'd want to soften the high end on the starting lead.
ngl...I didn't think the high-end on the starting lead was a little too strong at first...mostly because I've been listening to it through speakers.
ok, the strings or the tonal noise?
Oh my God the knocks got me
I looked to my left
Sounds great! I'm definitely out my depths to give any advice on this though.
Probably the tonal noise. Either that or the triangle-ish noise.
Wait...maybe it was the strings. idk.
Tonal noise, yeah. Probably both
@bleak narwhal ngl "Reason 9" is actually a great title idea. It could be a good reference to the Beatles' obscure tape collage track "Revolution 9".
