my character is an NPC in a tabletop campaign I'm working on set in Foxhole

Basically they come from a area that is now in mostly wardens lands but a long time ago they didn't want to join the Caiovish so they instead fought them, but that didn't end well for them as the government and most of the military fled down south after a series of crushing defeats.
Now a long time later they have allied themselves with Mesea and the Colonial Legion and fight as a regiment inside the Legion with the hopes of "liberating" their homeland and paying back those wardens that hurt them, or that is what was told to them.
It's simple and effective.
