Oh yeah, forgot to answer this. I did have some classes on it back in HS but most of it is born from just drawing a bunch. I got this style from drawing daily. Had to do it quickly or else I won't have time for video games and found out that using shadowy figures and splashing colors on it actually results in some pretty neat stuff.

I just do this for a hobby for the moment, there's still a lot of things I have to learn and master before I reach professional levels.

Hey @stuck crown, some questions for you! 🙂 I am working on a long term airsoft dusk project, but the in game model seems to have some weird proportions (I guess due to the adjustments needed to account for the game's perspective). I was wondering if you had a version of the dusk without the modifications for in game use still around for taking measurements , or if you had any ideas about the dusk that did not make it into the model (fire selector, things like this).

You can always use a render farm if your pc can't handle it

Tbf the main difference from one hardware to another is the render time, not whether or not it can render

You can have a lower render time with evee btw, and it can look almost as good as cycles if set up well

You can clean it up with ethanol and then use electrical tape to add a bit of stickiness before each print

like you stick the tape, wait .5 sec and rip it off

and repeat with the same piece

so a bit of glue transfers over

it's a dirty trick but effective

ALSO, you can print with an extra Adhesion setting
