I remember seeing Dishonered 2 and getting excited, but as with every single new game I never buy them on release no matter how much I want it unless it's β¬20 or less, which they never are.

@hasty widget referring to yestreday, the so-called "Bergetiger" was actually an explosive-laying device, the crane was too weak to haul any vehicles, and it's a tank. It's already too weighed down with its armour to aid in towing anything. (It's the reason you don't tow with tanks, but with unarmored tractors)
So yeah, if you wanted a repair vehicle, you'd look for one of these

The 68mm gun also vaguely resembles a coastal gun remounted for anti-tank roles. Naval gun shields often offered more coverage than the single-plane shields used on most land artillery.

Yeah I found some really old naval gun shield reference that felt very foxhole for the EAT.
We messed with some more 'modern' to ww2 shields but it didn't give us the feeling we wanted.
For the Heavy AC I referenced a lot of the larger armoured cars from ww1 and earlier.
ww1 Armoured cars mostly ended up being used to police occupied states, or training vehicles back in whatever country had them.

Stuff we are working on now I obviously can't tank about. A smaller panzer style tank could work but I would not style the visuals it after German tanks.
Here and there their will be hints of/ inspiration from all nations in ww2. I actually think the colonial BT is slightly to close to its IRL counterparts. The colonials art style though is meant to be close to real ww2. Wardens are more older out of date European.
Art wise I want the vehicles to feel more interwar. I think its more interesting to have some 'bad tank' designs then make every tank a perfect killer king tiger. The idea is if a new player/ someone who doesn't have the game yet sees a screenshot their first impression is 'Oh its a ww2 game' Then when they learn more they learn its a 'strange real' universe. The strange real comes from the lean towards ww1 and interwar eras.
