XAudio2_7.dll exists in two folders. One is Windows/System32, the other is Windows/SysWOW64. Ensure that the dll is in both, and if its in one just copy it to the other.
One place mentioned registering the dll using command prompt with the command regsvr32 XAudio2_7.dll
Currently looking more into that command but it looks safe.
the only downside is that this is getting into territory of configuring windows that im not super duper familiar with. I know enough about it to get into trouble though.
