Hey my mic is running fine on all other apps, and all my settings are ok but for some reason I can’t use voice chat, I can hear voices but the audio is choppy. I can tell you from experience foxhole rarely works on laptops, an when it does it doesn’t work well.
Sure it’s low res, but it’s really really heavy server replication

i seem to be getting network issues with war service, i can use the tutorial island fine and interact with other players, get system messages, use world chat etc. however i cannot see the war state or use the deploy menu. the map is just blank for me. ive tried the network trouble shooting suggestions but nothing has worked. the "connection to foxhole services is limited" message is the only feedback i get

I think I am a good proof of what you said - yesterday, I bought the game and tried to play with my defective Geforce GX 770 (Nvidia Drivers). I could play it for a while, but just for about 5 minutes until my graphic card's driver crashed (because my card was defective, this happens with almost all games). I switched cards to my brad new Radeon RX 580, installed all recommended AMD drivers and then got this message. Tried to uninstall, delete Window's Registry and reinstalling the game, check file integrity, open the game with my Onboard Graphics Card... Nothing worked.
Saw one topic on Steam Support where the guy said that some cards are "with the clock too high for the game". Changed mine in AMD software, but it didn't work either...

@upper plover I try to change my clock settings in AMD soft, didn't help. Some reply form dev would be just great. I think rollback to previous version of the driver could help, but i don't want to do it. You can get older version form AMD website, so if u want check this out.

Hello, my voip seems to not work. I have set the DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.8.4, have uninstalled the voip software, after this I also reinstalled the game but when I press "t" to chat via voice, the little popup next to my character also does not show up

have you tried setting the output / input device in the game's volume settings to use system default? i had a similar issue and this remedied the problem for me

Hey, I just bought foxhole two days ago and it wont start at all. It shows a black screen for around 10 seconds and then closes again. Steam shows its running for another 10 seconds and then this also stops. I tried the solutions in the read first channel, my drivers are up to date, I have a Nvidia not AMD and I definitely provide the minimum system requirements.

@bold talon If you can't hear anyone's voip nor can u speak yourself then it seems to be a common issue. There apprently fixes but everyone I've spoken to hasn't been able yet but try the DNS fix and the vivox fix in the technical-read-first channel (also a reinstall perhaps) other than that I'd say patience. Alot of us r suffering a silent war.

hey guys so ive had trouble with my headset mic connecting to the in game voice. in windows its set as default and it works in all other programs ive tried. When i logi in and it connects to the voip and for 15-20 seconds i can speak and then it just stops working (doesnt switch settings) but the output still works fine. idk if this is related at all but i deleted the vivox files that was in the read first and i have verified game files and restarted application and game. Ive tried all varriations in the voice menu in game from default settings to the actual device. any other suggesters?

@slow juniper Try checking your anti virus/internet security programs to see if they're blocking Foxhole (you can always try to turn it off but that's completely at your own risk). We also read that disabling wifi might help (but you need an ethernet connection then).

@tranquil forge So I disabled the WiFi and it actually started! Of course it then showed some errors for not being able to download specific things. Now when I turn the WiFi on while the game is running and reload this download in the main menu of the game, the game instantly crashes again. Probably your idea with Ethernet helps but my Laptop doesnt have Ethernet connection anymore. And buying one extra for this game? I dont know about that. Does it mean I wont be able to play?

anybody else having severe stuttering issues? i've tried seemingly everything to fix this - disabling gsync, toggling every setting under the sun, uncapping the FPS, and recapping back to 60.. :(. seems to happen on all window modes, windowed/borderless/fullscreen. all drivers are up to date.

@dark cairn you may be pressing E at the wrong place, don't use the tent, i imagine you figured it out by now. @warm cradle ive seen that problem while using bluetooth audio, @obtuse patio you might try disabling the device in the device manage, and re-enable it again. if that doesnt work check pinned messages for voicemeeter hack/fix

i tried rolling back drivers to an older version (from may, and september) but it did not fix the problem, and also tried the driver from 12-10
while it looks subtle in that video, it makes the combat ...very difficult to play
