This has been bugging me for quite a while:

Description: If you reach critical health state, aka falling and bleeding out for 20 sec while doing ANY animation beside aiming/reloading/moving you'll instantly die, without having an option to be trauma'd. You can notice this by getting shot while vaulting over a wall/sandbag, pulling out your weapon, using binoculars or most common: treating other soldier's wounds.
Reproduction steps:
1. Find yourself in a situation which will lead to your death(get shot at/be bleeding),
2. Do any animation(like one mentioned above) while making sure your health reaches 0 while doing the animation.
3. Instadie.
Note: The instadeath isn't 1 hit kill, but just reaching that state where you should fall over and get the 20 sec countdown.
Reproduction rate: 100%
Enviroment: since the beginning of foxhole and current Live Build as well```

You are unable to turn a HMG while aiming it inside a Fortress Bunker.
Other defences were NOT tested - maybe this bug happens in all defences?

3. Enter Bunker
4. Aim the HMG and try to turn it (aim far left or far right)

Bug: Sometimes you can see players inside AI defensive structures and sometimes you cannot. I'm not sure which way the devs intend for the system to lean but it needs to be consistent. At the very least you should be able to always see friendlies inside AI defensive structures bare minimum. <@&282920218462912512>

The rifle does not go past its movement accuracy threshold after sprinting, nor turning. This may be a bothersome balance thing since this means people can just run around with no stability loss penalty and nail shots more consistently with it. Back to the shadowdancing realm we go.

EDIT: None of the weapons go past the movement threshold, sprint at will.

Field Artillery Azimuth not showing. I would say it happens 90% of the times you hop in and hop out of driver seat for spotting. Only workaround is going to gunner seat and going back to driver seat. Wich by the time you do that your moving targets well they just move :(.

Every day at 18:00 o'clock Weathered Expanse has a wierd blue tint for 20 ingame mins - from 18:00 - 18:20
This is the same issue that was fixed according to 0.18 patchnotes - but only the 5:40 AM glitch was fixed

[BUG] Voice chat broken. For some reason 10 minutes after the WC started I got disconnected from voice chat. Hitting the "new button" "reconnect" in "voice settings" resulted in more errors and I am still not able to participate in voice chat activities outside of operations.

@dense cave what you seem to be describing is the damage drop off. Aim a rifle and take note of how the white line fades out. After that white line ends, damage drops off exponentially and eventually stops. The damage drop off is different for every weapon

Look here marker persists after death. Died using the "Look Here" command and it stayed after death; remains even after I try to use it again. Doesn't affect aiming reticule either. Resolved by logging out and logging back in.

Vehicle Desync Bug:

Had this bug with a motorcycle today, same one as with the truck and jeep, fixed it by entering sidecar and then getting back on driver seat, noticed my player model appeared in the center of the motorcycle briefly when the bug occurred before disappearing. Getting on and off the driver seat did not resolve the bug, only getting in the passenger seat then getting in the driver seat seemed to fix the vehicle.

Weapon stability is not effected by movement since the release of 0.18. Once you have a weapon in your hands, the stability for that weapon will not drop below 50% (or even less), no matter what your character does.
Even sprinting does not effect the stability of your current weapon.

### Pre-conditions 
Different weapons + ammo

### Reproduction Steps 
1. Equip a Rifle, reload it and take it in your hand
2. Aim with the Rifle
3. move around while aiming, start sprinting and check the stability of the weapon
4. switch out the weapon to an SMG, a Carbine or a revolver for example and repeat from step 1

### Result 
Only firing the weapon effects the stability of it. This makes it very easy to "shadow dance"
Even after you fired your weapon and you keep sprinting, the stability will improve.
Since the introduction of stability, every character movement used to change your stability

### Expected Result 
Movement effected your stability in 0.17 and even in 0.18 dev branch. It seems not intended like this.

Sometimes when switching between two maps, the day/night cycle is no longer registered (client side?)
It is in the middle of the night, your vision is limited, but the game looks as bright as during the day.
The black circle that limits your vision is not showing.

2. Travel between map 1 and map 2, (bordertravel) doesnt really matter what map you select
3. Check the current time of the day ingame via the map

You feel like its day time ingame, but it isn't. You feel like your vision is broken, because people suddenly appear in front of you.

Respawning in another region, where you set your spawn, has a chance to duplicate gear that you had previously equipped.
I logged out yesterday in deadlands with a Rifle, 5 Clips, Radio, Binos, Bandage and a Sledge in my inventory.
Today i spawned in Umbral Wildwood, did a logi run to abandoned ward, where i set my spawn -> ran into callahans passage -> died -> respawned at Abandoned Ward (Respawn in Deadlands - on death screen) with the same gear from yesterday (when i logged out)

Two active world conquest regions - basic gear

### Reproduction Steps 
1. Join into any world conquest map (lets say Deadlands)
2. Grab equipment and equip it
3. Close the game by pressing "Exit"
4. Start the game, join world conquest in any other region than Deadlands
5. Go to Deadlands and set your spawn at any Townhall
6. Bordertravel to another region
7. Die and press "respawn in deadlands"
8. Check your equipment after spawn

### Result 
In the last two wars, this happened 3 times to me.
It could be abused to duplicate critical material

the fact that my reticle is pointing straight at the enemy should mean that my gun is aiming straight at the enemy

#

which would mean that there was a solid object between myself and the enemy preventing me from firing upon them

#

except the enemy was able to fire directly through the hard cover object

#

and if i recall correctly, i believe headshots count as critical hits so i should not have entered 'critically wounded' with a bleedout timer if it had been a headshot

#

which would mean he hit me in the body, which would mean that he definitely fired through the hard cover object to make that shot

the point at which the bullet leaves the rifle, where the game draws the ray, is at the tip of the rifle

but the player model does not actually move the rifle vertically when aiming

it's always pointing straight ahead

so when you shoot at a target that is above or below you, in game the bullet just comes out of the rifle at an angle

the expected behavior would be for the player model to actually move the rifle up or down which would move the point of origin for the bullet up or down as well

#

this wouldn't be a problem if the bullet originated from the player's torso/shoulder or if the player model actually moved the rifle vertically to aim up or down, but because neither of these are the case it creates situations like the above screenshot

#

if the rifle actually pointed where it was aiming, there would have been hard cover between the top and bottom player in both cases, but because the weapons were both pointing straight ahead the bullet for the top player could clear the cover whereas the bullet from the bottom player could not, because the bullet leaves the weapon at an angle

Small Wooden Bridge not letting Gunboat through:

Precondition: Gunboat with fuel and some shells at the wooden bridge close to the Well in Endless Shore

Reproduction:

Step 1: Get on Land and Lift/Open the bridge
Step 2: try to move the gunboat through the lifted bridge

Result: One runs into an invisible Wall which is not crossable, bridge needs to be destroyed to let Gunboat through towards Saltbrook channel

Expected Result: Gunboat should be able to move through

Mines state players inventory is full when picking up orders even when the players inventory has space

### Pre-conditions

Have less than 4 slots free in your vehicle or on foot.  Have an order of 4 scrap or sulpher in with the mine and ready for pickup.

### Reproduction Steps

1.   Attempt to pick up your order of 1 stack or as many stacks of mined materials you ordered as there are free slots in your vehicle or on foot

2.  Game will tell you there is not sufficient inventory space

3.  Works for any number of items attempting to pick up.  If you have 3 slots left and attempt to pick up 1, 2 or 3 stacks, the game will state the inventory is full.


### Result

If the player has any less than 4 slots available in their inventory, the game will not allow the player to pick up the items.  If you have 3 slots and wish to pick up 1, 2 or 3 items mined, it will not allow it.  If you get rid of another stack and now have 4 free slots, it will allow you to pick up an order 4 stacks large.


### Expected Result

If the player is attempting to pick up mined items with less than 4 slots open AND have space in their inventory for them, the game should allow the player to retrieve the goods.

  • Gates tend to jam even when walls as spaced a measly meter off it.

Colonial town, and the Garrisson access is on the opposite side of the defenders (door is facing off ennemies outside of defensive perimeter) which allow ennemy to climb easily inside colonial garrison and shot the TH from here. without any problem.

Anti Tank Turrets do not return fire, if you shoot with a vehicle at it
This is most noticeable with Tanks. You can just fire at them without any danger at all.

### Pre-conditions 
Tanks, Active AT Turret from enemy faction

### Reproduction Steps 
1. Build Tank + Ammo
2. Build active enemy AT Turret
3. Position the tank at maximum firing range
4. Shoot at the active enemy AT Turret
5. Watch it not return fire

### Result 
AT Turrets do not return fire if you shoot at them from vehicles, this take a lot of danger out of the tank gameplay, you can just steamroll everything without danger if no player is around

AT Turrets used to fire at you, as soon as you hit them with your vehicle -> return fire

2. The second person then locks the vehicle

The first person who opened the inventory and waited can still transfer items in and out of the truck despite it being locked.

Description: Stuck in the border travel Loading screen. Unable to do anything. The game is softlocked where the only way for me to be able to play is to exit the game. Or Be TK'ed but the issue with that is that I cannot open map. I might be able to but I wouldnt know. Imagine it like you are now blind. You can still move and such. New HMG deploy animation looks weird and allows the HMG to be shot before the animation finishes. It looks like "overencumbered falling" and after the fall the HMG gets deployed. If you go from standing to prone you can shoot before the animation finishes.

Sometimes you are not able to get into passenger of a truck or jeep from outside, and even sometimes while being able to get inside the passenger seat from outside you cannot switch to the driver seat with the Z button, you end up asking someone else to get in the passenger seat and switch to driver seat to move it away from a blocked driver seat position for you to reenter the vehicle.. (this situation gets so annoying in any scenario but most when you load trucks on barges in a way that you need to access the passenger seat first, it does happens with the truck's driver seat not being accesible from outside as well while on a barge. Although this happens randomy it happens way often.

Travelling through regions might put you in default x 0 z 0 position on the map you travel to. On some maps(mooring, callahans,) you'll spawn below the map which will basically "kill" you.

This is a bug that makes your truck honk while you try to click and drag the map around while having your map open.

When pushing M (to look at your map) and then N (to look at world map), when going back to your regular map and then clicking and dragging the map will cause your truck to honk. I know that pushing M and then N and then going back to a map is the trigger for this bug, because normally just opening a map in a truck and then dragging the map doesn't make the truck honk.

This gets annoying because you look like an insane person just honking their horn in the middle of port base.

Found a bug:

Unknown what triggers it, but noticed a glitch where you are always considered crouching when building. It will forever say "Structure can only be placed from a standing position." Relogging fixes it, but crouching and standing back up, switching weapons, does not. Haven't tested with death.

Suspicious circumstances occured to me,
Had a truck, barb wire next to truck, I got out of truck on top of wire, then after slow waddling out of the wire I could never access a vehicle, get in a foxhole or access a nearby FOB.
Perhaps it's resulting from trying to get back into driver seat while entangled in wire.

I am still amazed that no one brought this bug up its the most basic one, yet no one will talk about:
Bug name: Field artillary azim or dist numbers disappear, or it starts aiming vertically rather than horizontally, or the FA starts wiggling up and down while moving
it happens at random times but the main reason is wene the FA is standing on a gate, or upon moving through a gate or if you stand on a small hill then go down from it.

When building with multiple cvs/hammers, the server doesn't register each hit. It results in 1 person using more materials than the other 1 or 2.

Have 2-3 people building the same structure with CVs or hammers.

### Reproduction Steps

1- Have 2-3 people ready to build.
2- Check the material count on each builders' backpack.
3-Start building. 
4- Check remaining materials in each backpack once the construction is done.

1- Have 2 CVs ready to build a Garrisoned House.

3- 1 CV will use 80 Bmats, the other will use 40.

Each builder spends different amount of materials, and the structure isn't built as fast as it should be.

Result

When first driving the motorcycle, player will appear completely invisible, but motorcycle headlights will light up. The area around the motor cycle will not illuminate at night time making driving very dark. It's as if you are observing the motorcycle from binoculars. The exception is for the area that the player originally got on the motorcycle, it will remain illuminated. When you exit the motorcycle the area around you will light up and the player will be visible. Re-entering and exiting the motorcycle will make the player invisible again, but the lighting bug was not reproducible. The invisibility only applied to the player riding the motorcycle, was still visible to other players.

Expected Result

Player should not be invisible and light around the player should be rending at night time

there's a bug where refineries briefly play noise when you enter their render range regardless of if they're refining anything or not, there's a bug with the truck where it occasionally doesn't play engine noises while driving, there's a rare bug where water splash sounds play when you enter/exit a foxhole, there are still voicechat bugs, sounds occasionally fail to play if there are a lot of sounds being played at once, there used to be (and i haven't tested it since) a bug where if you were offscreen and getting shot at by a sniper you couldn't hear the sniper rifle fire

Unintended climb-up path in Faranac River @ K11k8

Pre-conditions

1 APC with driver and at least 1 passenger in rear.
1 glitched(?) Cargo Barge with ramp facing south.

Reproduction Steps

  1. Get glitched barge with 1/2 open gate near wall in particular spot.
  2. Bring APC up to side of barge.
  3. Player in APC rear should be able to climb onto APC roof, then into barge.
  4. Player sprints off of end of barge ramp, flies through air onto spot on cliff.
  5. A combination of moving around and attempting to climb onto stone wall will allow player onto land.

Result

Any number of players could cross Farranac River and be inserted into an area not normally considered accessable and then flank E or W to either bridge, catching enemy from behind and/or by surprise.

Expected Result

Players should not be able to cross the river in this area in this fashion.

Reproduction Rate:

Low or unknown. What happened is that I got into an APC and a bunch of people piled in, yelling something about an amphibious assault over voice comms, because the south ends of both bridges were heavily defended. I drove into the water from a small gap next to the River Mercy bridge @ I10k8, not knowing that there were no beach areas around. I traveled east a bit and noticed the barge sitting there, I did not put it there myself. I have no info as to how it got there in this state of having the ramp 1/2 open. Someone in the back yelled over voice to pull up next to it, and they then climbed into the barge from the APC roof. Someone else tried running off the end of the barge ramp and landed on the ground (to our surprise). At that point I lost sight of the other player as LOS between me and him were broken, but I could hear them talking on voice, and I heard one of them saying that they could climb up onto the grey stone wall & walk west onto normal ground.

  1. Go to a stockpile building as above, press E to access it.
  2. Click on All tab at top - Artillery Shells should be present & clickable for taking.
  3. Click on Heavy Weapons option at top - Artillery Shells are not on this tab at all.

Result

You are required to click the All option instead of Heavy Weapons option in order to pull crates of Artillery Shells. While not a complete blocker this is counter-intuitive in operation as all other large shell types (Light, Howitzer, Tank) are present in the Heavy Weapons tab.

Expected Result

The option to click on Artillery Shells should be present in both the All and Heavy Weapons tab.

In case the dev's by some chance haven't encountered this bug yet, the bug where your in your truck and you can't interact with things using E or change seats. It gets fixed by hopping out of the truck and going to the passenger seat and changing seats.

This is on the off chance that the dev's actually don't know about this bug and nobody reports it because it's so common.

Edit: Not sure if it's a bug but if a vehicle is squadlocked but unlocked, you can't find out until you try to take something out or try to lock it. So you can get a squadlocked truck, put lots of stuff in it and then it turns out it's squadlocked and you can't get it out.

Vehicles (especially tanks) seem to occasionally cause a disembodied nametag bug, where a player's name is floating in open space after they have already left the area in a vehicle.  This usually seems to occur when you are frequently walking away from and back toward a crewed friendly vehicle, especially when using binoculars to look far away.

### Pre-conditions:
- A vehicle (seems most reproduceable with a tank)
- Some distance.
- (Possibly) A server or area of the map under load (seems to happen more often this way, might just be coincidence).

### Reproduction Steps:
1. Have friendly tank crewmembers in driver seat and gunner seat of vehicle moving around and periodically stopping.
2. Walk out of res range from the tank and back into res range.
3. (Optional) Use Binoculars to look in the opposite direction of your friendly tank as you walk away.
4. Walk back into res range of your friendly tank.

### Result:
Disembodied names should be floating in open space, while the vehicle is elsewhere.

### Expected Result:
Names should remain above the player vehicle.

### Reproduction Rate:
Rare.  I haven't been able to reproduce it on purpose yet.

As you can see in the above screenshot, the hatch is open because one of those players is using their binoculars from the commander seat, yet their names are not lined up with the vehicle and the character model isn't rendered properly in the commander seat. As the vehicle moves around the environment the names stay stuck in place.

I haven't been able to reproduce it on purpose, but I have seen this bug happen more than three times in the past week or so, once with a halftrack (driver and gunner seat were both occupied but the names were bugged and floating and the player model of the gunner wasn't rendered).

It may be related in some way to voice chat as I noticed in each occasion at least one player was speaking on mic in local or OP chat when the bug occurred.

dont know if either of these bugs have been reported but 1.) When in the back of the APC (warden) when near emcumbrance (I was at 99% holding some HE's) it'll periodically fling you out. Title: Possible factory order bug.
Description: When I logged in this afternoon, an order I'd placed at Dullahan's Crest's factory was still showing as uncollected, despite it having been there about 12 hours. I went back this evening & there were still orders that I'm all but certain were there last night still sitting uncollected, as was an order I'd put in this afternoon. My understanding is that these should go into the public inventory after a certain amount of time - & there was nothing to stop them doing so - but they just seem to be stuck there.
Pre-conditions: Unknown; but if I were to guess at a possible cause, it's the public inventory having been full at the time the completed orders tried to spawn there. Unaware of another factory or mine with the same issue, though.

when running in front of a foxhole at a certain angle, it kills you, only this foxhole did it, it only happened at 1 angle, no other foxholes in the area did what this one did. the game would kinda lag when getting hit and then it brings you down

@rancid thistle Basically no connection to the voice servers. In the settings menu under voice, there's a reconnect button that you can try. If that doesn't work, worth a game restart. It's also possible that there's an issue with the Vivox servers at the moment, which basically would mean giving it time and occasionally reconnecting. Traveling between regions will also attempt a reconnect automatically to that region's channel.

To add to Thaiden's bug report, I've managed to reproduce it 3 times, it's a combination of spamming Q and left mouse button, there'll be a chance on entering it sticks you inside, you can't do anything but auto swing that hammer. Makes for self repairing inside.

Spawning in the WC for the first time will set some people flying and they start bleeding. Would be cool not to die and wait for respawn as the first thing to happen to a player in WCs. I could have gotten a rifle, instead I had to respawn and wait for so long that all rifles were gone already πŸ˜‰

Fuel infront of Port rime is bugged, u can only get the first one since u walk "through" the ground u end up below the 2nd and 3rd fuel stack

So, for some reason there are 2 refineries in Weathering Halls in Weathered Expanse. There is no other town like this one on any maps. Idk why that is, like its not enough all those scrapyards around WE port base. 😐

Could be a localized issue, depends on graphics quality maybe. Check your FPS, if it drops, it is your machine (of course they need to optimize that part for this not to happen)

Description

Rocks outside Port of Rime are phantoms

Pre-conditions

Log into game, go to Weathered Expanse / Port of Rime Port Base

Reproduction Steps

Go to Port of Rime, go east out of gate towards the Fuel Node.
As you get closer or go farther east past the node, you should sink into the ground.

Result

You sink into ground, become hidden from view
This also interferes with getting resources from the Fuel node as you are now below the fuel cans.
NOTE: The rocks all the way up to the pier to the north exhibit this behavior

To not sink into ground
