Sure devs are aware of it, but the exploit where you have one slot in your inventory as a tech part and the rest of the slots full, then hammer away at a pile and it never despawns in order to farm tech parts. Really broken in groups, people are maxing tech in all buildings by days 4 and 5.

Anyone here got experience with not being able to start the game without getting any error message? I've read the Common Problems where people get the message of not having VC redist 2015 and tried the fixes recommended for that, but I'm getting no message at all. The sidebar just shows "Foxhole - Running" for about 1-2 seconds and then nothing happens.

Hey sorry if is the wrong place to ask, i've had a look around and cant find any answers to this. I've been trying to join servers for the past two days, waiting up to an hour times with no success.
My friends are telling me that they have a number displaying their position in queue, however mine does not? i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but still had no luck :/

Truck sometimes glitched. At one point, an invisible truck blocked a gate. Had to shoot an empty space, where the truck original position is so that the bug is resolved, destroying the truck in the process.
Also, if you die, youll fall out of the map. Seen it happened at crater basin.
In addition, voice chat is terribly lagged. At one point, everyone starts talking faster than normal, as if the games plays everything fast forward. Sometimes i cant even hear what they say eventhough i am near them.

Sometimes my game wont let me push to talk in game. when I press T the game completely freezes for 5-10 seconds and then goes back to normal. I have no idea what causes this but when i first jump into the server its fine and i can talk but then after a while it'll kick in, like an hour or 2 into the game. I can play normally still just cannot press the T key. I play on Fox 2 if that helps at all, i dont know what other info i can give...

this probably falls somewhere between bug and suggestion.
can you please address the issue where you can 'see' a person in FoW becasue of the collision detection of your aim. assuming you know what static obstacles there are in front of you it becomes very easy to hit people well before you ever see them.

Gate's crosshair hitbox doesn't lower with the gate when the gate itself is lowered, if you aim at the top of where the raised gate should be, your aim will still go upwards and fire shots there instead of the front

game isn't properly updating or installing, I had a previous version without updating for a while and the game couldn't find servers when started, I verified files it confirmed as fine, I uninstalled the game and tried to reinstall but it didn't install anything, even verifying again it confirmed as fine but the folder for the game in my steam folder is blank
apparently thats what happens if you didn't purchase it since it doesn't disallow you from starting it or doing a false install

a Bug: after expiransing a lag spike and losing conection to a server, the server browser won't refrsh antil i restart foxhole. my gess is that the clit just does not try to recoenct to server broweser.... can be fixed with a timer to riconect that gets longer each failer. Not sure if this is known or not. When zooming in with the rifle grenade launcher you can no longer hear the people beside you but you can hear the people you're aiming at. Kind of like a parabolic dish.
Sound is directional to the centre of your screen and not your character I guess?

My push to talk button no longer works. I played for about 30hrs with it working just fine but in the last few hours when I press T no speaking icon appears and no one else can hear me. I tried restarting the game, restarting the computer, and changing the push to talk key but it still doesnt work. I checked my mic on discord and it still works.

Its specifically for visual effects in the OS.
So smooth gliding windows, flashy minimize/maximize visuals, etc

In some circumstances you can increase your frames per second by disabling Aero effects.
And of course making sure there's as little background stuff running as possible while you're playing
If none of these solutions work, try forcing windowed mode for your game through Steam launch options if you can't force native resolution outside of the game, this will force Steam to launch the game in windowed mode and avoid the problem until you can make the necessary changes

There is a bug regarding trucks. If I claim a truck then lock it then unclaim it for squad, next time I try to access it it will say it is locked and I can't unlock it unless I have a wrench

There is a bug I found. When a truck is parked on a gentle slope and I exit the truck it starts moving backwards by itself slowly. I ignored it, and afterwards went back to the truck to where it had moved(not a lot). I couldn't enter the truck, as well as the space in front of the truck (where I had originally parked) was obstructed as though the truck was still there. Spammed Q beside the empty space, entered and exited the truck, now with the truck above my player(my player outline was visible) and the truck moved with my on foot movement.

Field artillery shells have too little AoE (area-of-effect), maybe even no AoE at all - two enemy soldiers was constructing pillbox, standing as close as possible each to another, and when we shoted one of them with direct hit (even headshot!) - another one not even got wounded, and unfinished pillbox they are were building not even exploded... I was shoted by artillery once and survived the explosion which was litteraly right under my feet. Also this holes in the ground after explosion can be spawned even in the air or on top of the building...

Truck Help: If your truck flies or disappears you can fix it by logging off then on, running 200 meters away from the truck in any direction then running back, or you can have someone hop in and move the truck for you. All of these remedies will make the truck visible again, the truck disappearance bug is a client side issue.

I dont know if this has been brought up before, but seems to be a glitch that allows players to shoot a shotgun ( possibly other weapons) through walls. Doesnt do damage however the shotgun blast pushes the person on the other side away. Had it happen a few times on all 3 levels of walls

Just like to report a bug that happened where me and a friend got stuck after healing eachother with first aid kits. We could turn around and get in/out of vehicles, and we could change stances, but we just couldn't actually move our characters. Hi Devs. Thanks for such a great game. I just wanted to report one absolute game-ruining bug which I see in every single match. For some reason, the game currently allows players to submit b-mats and r-mats to town halls and outposts. This results in endless frustration as the time to remove them from the outpost is probably greater than just mining new ones. I don't see any gameplay reason why bmats and rmats should even be able to be put in town halls and outposts. It is so frustratingly pointless that it can only be considered as a bug!

Small bug that isn't game breaking, when you are downed it is sometimes possible for someone to start treating you with a first aid kit. You're character will still have the countdown and you will die, however your character will appear as though he is standing up. if you have nvidia, in your nvidia control center there should be a setting for physx. try to switch that to run on GPU instead of CPU or Auto

I tried both. I set it to run on high performance card. Doesnt work. Set everythingg to run on that card globaly, still crashes

I had a simular issue with gathering components, the hitboxes wouldn't match up with the ingame models which caused invisible walls, ungatherable resources and even getting stuck

Ok, sorry for delay but I'm in Aus so was sleeping. Related to post way back up above by me. Tried antivirus with bitdefender, also updated graphics drivers and windows updates. Tried running it now and it's not crashing to black screen or BIOS anymore, but it does crash back to desktop with the following error

Hey, I'm getting some crashing error consistently. Don't know what's causing it. It's crashed my whole computer at least once, but typically crashes in some way that both my monitors go black and is unrecoverable, resulting in turning my computer off and on again.
so the whole computer crash went straight to bios, but that was only once. The rest just shut off my monitors and I can't do anything from there
I was playing earlier and it was perfectly fine for a few hours, but then I took a break, and now this has happened

Probably already known, when using the Binoculars, the positional audio and proximity chat (atleast the listening part of it) travels with the center of the screen/vision. If that makes sense.

When upgrading walls it is quite easy to get stuck - typicially happend to me around e13 when trying to upgrade the long wall get stuck in between sandbags

Rotate Camera is not functioning correctly when the mouse cursor is at the Extreme Maximum Left and Right edges of the screen.
Top and Bottom edges working correctly.
When your mouse cursor is at the Left most edge, and you press rotate camera and move the mouse,
it does not let me rotate Left... But only rotate Right works.
When your mouse cursor is at the Right most edge, and you press rotate camera and move the mouse,
it does not let me rotate Right.... But only rotate Left works.

Found out while in combat, trying to rotate camera to the Corners to see as far as I can.
There were strange moments when camera just would not rotate for some reason. This was the cause.

Windowed mode: it is diffcult to get cursor to the very left and right edges in windowed mode which is probably why it's not occuring in windowed.

@unkempt dirge From what I noticed, you exit the same way you enter a foxhole, if that entrance is blocked your exit is also blocked

You could definitely give it a try. Mine runs fine on 1080p though. What's your graphics card and system specs? I've got 8gb ram, and nvidia 1060.

hello everyone my system is Gtx 1070 and i7 7700 k game runs smothly until 10-20 minutes or until i die and respawn after that server lags so hard for me that makes my game crash and even sometimes steam to crash

3) You are getting unusually poor framerate even though you have a reasonably fast PC.
Please try to restart your Steam client. As of Foxhole 0.22, there is a bug that sometimes causes the game to have poor framerate until Steam is restarted. We are working to resolve this issue in a future update.

I'm sure everyone has noticed it, but the Z level of either the foxhole tarp, or the boxes inside, needs to be changed to prevent the current clipping issue as the cover flaps in the wind.

I've had a bug where I was sitting in a foxhole.
it was blown up but i somehow survived the explosion but the foxhole was gone and i was stuck in the ground and couldnt do anything

Had an issue where I was able to get in to a CV that was next to a building (and had no gas), but could not get back out because the door was blocked. should not have been able to get in to it in the first place. I've seen people have the same issue with foxholes near buildings.

I've had a recurring issue when I play Foxhole through steam, where when I decide to close the game the Steam client still thinks its running when the game is no longer running. This prevents me from playing Foxhole or anything else unless I restart the Steam client altogether.

There is a Foxhole program that runs in background processes called "War". Ending that task should allow you to reopen the game

Hey @sand ocean You will need to run the Command Prompt as an administrator and enter "netsh winsock reset"- You will receive a prompt that asks you to restart your PC. Don't restart until the prompt instructs you to do so.

Me and a friend have a problem regarding voice chat ingame
we are talking on discord and everything is fine
but somehow my voice chat doesnt work ingame? I dont get the "sound" icon over my head anymore even tho i tried to change keybindings and restarting the game
My friend gets his "sound" icon up but cant be heard. We can hear other players
my friend can be heard. so its only me that are having this issue
any ideas?

Bug: I had two First Aid Kits equiped. Went to heal a friendly, it said No one to treat, but it injured him. I tried again, he started spurting blood. Tried a third time, and it said I killed him. 😐
