Vehicle Speeds:
- Max: 304 mph (489 km/h, 264 kn) at 17,000 ft (5,200 m)
- Cruise: 175 mph (282 km/h, 152 kn) at 15,000 ft (4,600 m)
Vehicle Armaments:
- 2x Fixed Wing-mounted 20mm Cannons
- 2x Fixed Wing-mounted 12.7mm Machine gun
- 2x Turret twin-mounted 12.7mm Machine gun
- 2x Hardpoints
Vehicle Lore: Originally design as a test project for turret fighter; the Shieldmaiden No.1 and No.2 isn't really successful due to lack of forward armaments. The No.3 and No.4 improve upon the old design and perform relatively well as a defense fighter. The Shieldmaiden No.5 is the mass produce variant of the Shieldmaiden No.4. This aircraft is usually crew by 2 airmen, but there is space to fit 1 extra passenger or some machinery device like the Night-fighter detection device. The fighter is also able to carry 2x25kg bombs or 2x50kg bombs but it would lower the performance of this aircraft dramatically. Use by the Warden Empire, the numbers of this type of aircraft isn't great. But it is often used in many other roles then the original design; which include anti-submarine patrol (spotting) and frontline recon.

It might not look like much but this screenshot has a very special place in my heart from the first week I spent playing Foxhole. It took place in Callahan's passage, Cragstown I believe. As usual (at the time), we were getting absolutely decimated by the Colonials in this match but me and my mate Snoob just didn't care. We just loved playing the game, having banter with other players, and getting in to the WW1-esque back and forth push and pull of warfare that the game offered.
We spent the entire week playing the game on and off. It wasn't until the map Callahan's Passage came up that we decided to go all in. We started playing at around 10am GMT and we didn't stop playing until 10am the FOLLOWING day. When we pushed out at the start of the map, we took control of Solas Gorge, Lochan Berth, and White Chapel. Lochan was lost within hours followed by Solas when it was cut off and Colonials took all the roads. All we had left was White Chapel but my god did the Wardens make it a nightmare and a half to take over. It fell but it didn't fall at least without a good number of Wardens in the streets fighting up close near constantly, only to die and immediately run straight back in again without a second thought.
Then the player count began to drop on both sides, more-so on the Wardens due to the defeat that was fast approaching and so many just wanted to wait until the next map started. Me and my buddy Snoob, we didn't care, as well as many others who just wanted to see how far we could go and we made our final stand in Cragstown. We were outnumbered close to 3:1. Colonials pushed - we pushed back harder. They brought APCs - we destroyed 5 and stole 1. We took advantage of a broken hilltop where the enemy couldn't fire on and grenades had no effect on us, but we had to use it. We kept mowing down Collies and we used up every bit of ammo we had.
When we finally stopped playing, I heard that the Wardens made a prison pen for themselves to surrender. But it was fun.

I wrote up a big story about our defense of Teichotima during the closing hours of the war 84. Ashtown's flank was exposed and with minimal troops and scarce supplies we managed to defend it for 2 hours, just long enough to save Ashtown and allow the main Colonial forces to finish the war. Truly, a glorious last stand. Give it a read, I spent a lot of time and effort on it

"The Scourge of The Moors"
This Light Tank Destroyer was responsible for the destruction of at least sixteen different Outlaw/Silverhand tanks, 1 Captured H5 Hatchett, 1 Captured Light TD, 1 AT Half Track and 4 trucks. It was also involved in providing supporting fire damage in the destruction of at least another 10 various enemy tanks.
This LTD also saved a number of allied Spatha tanks from destruction by enemy vehicles.
This vehicle suffered repeated de-tracking, fuel loss and overall structural damage, but each time was successfully returned to service. The number of shots bounced were too numerous to count.
It's rampage was finally halted by a lucky Warden hand grenade into the crew compartment - however the vehicle was successfully recovered by the same allies it had saved previously.
The Scourge now resides at a secure location and is a testament to the strength, tenacity and resolve of the Colonial Legion's Armoured Corps.
Best tank experience I've had in this game since I purchased it in 2018!
