FMAT is a Warden Loyalist regiment that aims to supply all wardens with the necessary frontline equipment. We do everything logi you could think of.
FMAT is known to be a relaxed, laidback yet incredibly hardworking and efficient regiment. When people see us roll up they know the cavalry is here. Frowns turn to smiles when we yet again flood a frontline bb with the supplies you need the most.

The Vanguard Army, much like the Directorate it serves, is known for its callous disregard for human life. Having severed its ties with the outside world, the government of Tarkvald does not consider itself beholden to foreign conventions of warfare.
The Directorate's obsession with innovation has led to the development of radiological warfare. Ordnance filled with radioactive substances such as radium dust and radon gas is sent to the desired target (usually a civilian population, particularly in centers of production) and can cause radiation sickness and long-term health issues, including cancer. In some cases, Vanguard units are trained to conduct combat operations in contaminated areas.

Hi all,
Exactly 3 months ago (during WC76), we received a message on the KGG discord (as I am part of it) telling us that the 11eRC was defending Oster Wall, surrounded and trapped out of the Warden territory (Eastern front had totally collapsed) and that they needed us to supply them before they ran out of everything, even if it meant crossing the enemy lines.
So, 18 KGG players + 1 ISAWA member + 1 total random, improvised a convoy consisting of :
- 1 LUV, opening the way and scouting
- 2 Fuel tankers, refilling vehicles while advancing
- 5 LTs, protecting and sacrificing themselves
- 6 Flatbeds, transporting containers full of supplies
Our goal: At least one truck reaching Oster Wall would have been a success
It was my most memorable moment on Foxhole, and certainly one of my best on all games. And, as a student in cinema and precisely video-editing, I wanted to make my first real personal project and decided to make a video of it. I collected two others POV of the operation and started, it took me 3 months to finish and publish it (summer job + vacations + lazyness) but here it is !

Woke up this morning to the screaming of Collie artillery. Not the best alarm clock. I'm not sure how I slept through all the noise last night. Came out of the BB to find that the engineers had been hard at work. Armoured companies too. We've got three tanks opposed to our one just yesterday. Might not make it home if it keeps getting heavy here. I've got sentry duty later. Put me in your prayers.
Collies keep hitting us hard. Anti-tank is getting some good hits. Sounds like they're moving more infantry forward. Might reach the breaking point soon. Logi is supposed to be bringing artillery, 120mm down here. Don't know where it is. Can't get here fast enough if you ask me.
Dropped three more Collies since the last entry. Breaking for lunch now. These attacks are getting- (the entry is unfinished here.)
Got an alert about a naval invasion to the north-west. We were deployed so fast I almost forgot my journal. All that just to show up and for there to be nothing. We got shelled the whole way here. Hoping it's a bit calmer ton- (The entry is unfinished. The rest of the page is an illegible mess of smeared ink, blood, and dirt. Some parts of it are burnt too.)

It opens up to numerous entries; you pick the most recent one. Only a few days ago.
The handwriting is horrible.
Day 25, Prom - GC
Today we were supposed to reinforce Promethiens from the colonial naval invasion. Our regiment came with a phalanx, but since we have extra crew members to crew the tank, I am free to roam around on my own.
I found an APC behind the bunker base. I'm going to crew it and hopefully have infantry shoot from the inside. I really don't like our boys standing in the open, I think the APC is a great way for infantry to safely engage in a firefight. Colonials have some serious anti-tank down here. We lost multiple tanks to the enemy and I'm a little worried. Hopefully I don't get shot by dozens of ignifists.

I got shot by dozens of ignifists. The APC blew up and I was able to make it out alive, barely. The infantry inside, not so much. They all died in the fire. One of the privates had a few grenades on him and they detonated into a fury of smoke and shrapnel as we all bailed. So much for safely engaging in a firefight...
Gotta go soon, apparently there's an unlocked silverhand right outside our base and I'm going to go crew it. Hope it doesn't blow up.

*Impatience gripped me, watching the battle in helplessness, feeling like I needed to be up there. Fighting alongside my brothers and sisters to bring an end to the warden reign of terror. A moment of indecision, gripping the side of the foxhole I pushed the tarp back and kept out of the hole rushing forwards, bringing my weapon to bear I nestled it in my shoulder pointing at the ground ready for when I needed to make use of it. The first 20 metres was easy, the next 20…the next 20 was a hail of bullets and shells. Dead bodies, colonial and warden alike, already littered the field. Craters filled with bodies were all over the place, gripping a gas grenade I ripped it from my belt and threw it, landing in a foxhole full of wardens. They attempted to retreat, jumping out of the crater. But I was expecting them. Dropping to one knee I let out bursts towards them, striking them and dropping them. Dead or alive they were out of the fight. Not my problem anymore.
Bounding forward I ran into the foxhole they just vacated. Checking their uniforms and backpacks for anything useful I hit the jackpot, 3 gas grenades and a HE grenade. What a result, a moment of triumph just before a hail of bullets flew over my head. Dropping down to my stomach I crept to the corner of the crater and peered towards the front. Moving into a kneeling position I began observing the crater ahead of me. I noticed movement so not risking anything I threw a HE grenade followed by a gas grenade for good measure. A bullet flew close, grazing my side I keeled over in pain. A burning pain spread across my side, a wet sticky liquid began to flow down my stomach. Saturating my uniform, I knew I was in bad state but I couldn’t stop. Wincing in pain I turned and laid in the crater…*

I Own a volta for home defense, since that's what the volta intended. Four wardens break into my house. "What the devil?" As I grab my 7.62 and Volta rifle. Blow a golf ball sized hole through the first man, he's dead on the spot. Draw my ferro on the second man, miss him entirely because it's smoothbore and nails the neighbors dog. I have to resort to the mortar mounted at the top of the stairs loaded with a shrapnel round, "Tally ho lads" the shrapnel shreds two men in the blast, the sound and extra shrapnel set off LUV alarms. Fix bayonet and charge the last terrified blueberry. He Bleeds out waiting on the police to arrive since buckhorn wounds are impossible to stitch up. Just as maro intended.

The German Half Track that is shown here is the Sd.Kfz. 251. And yes, it had a lot of passanger capacity, up to 12 I believe. But Warden and Collie HT are more like Sd.Kfz. 250 so a lot less.

Many times I would read of the night and how people find something romantic in it, I miss those times, when I could stay at home in Mesea and read a bit, now I'm stuck on a bridge.
The crickets accompany my nights, at least when the wardens leave these waters alone, I guess.
All around, I have been lucky, I have been stationed as a guard on a bridge in our backlines, away from the heavy fighting I see many people come back from, scared, confused, changed.
Around 0300 while looking with my binoculars I saw a silhouette, small boat with a man dressed in a heavy caoivish parka, how is he even able to think with those clothes in this climate?
A barge full of friendlies passed the bridge and five minutes later I spotted the parka guy fast approaching towards the bridge, in a desperate attempt to escape his pursuers. I shot and hit him, he left my range injured, only to get killed a bit up the stream.
It's already morning.
I do wonder if that was desperation or courage.```

Today command shipped some goods to the base, heavy clothes, some support guns and the new gas masks model, that thing is terrible to wear.
Sometimes, when I'm particularly bored, the thought of the frontline passes through my mind, watching a bridge isn't exactly what I expected upon being drafted but at least is safe, it feels hypocritical to think those guys north have a better time than me.
An unexpected thing was a soldier passing by on a bicycle and stopping to talk, it was nice to have a good conversation for a while, too bad it was interrupted by a report of around 5 warden vehicles in the area.
After that they cranked up the harassment and I got called to assist too, turns out they had an encampment, an actual encampment, in our backlines. We dealt with it swiftly.

Basic training:
I just had a wonderful experience in the Warden home region, I saw a no-rank walking around the spawn area confused, so I asked him if he was new, and to no surprise he was. I led him to the Basic Training area and gave him a run down of how to use all the features of the encampment.
Originally I wanted to give a run down and then leave him to his own with the tutorial.
However, at the encampment were two other noobs, they listened while I gave the lesson. Then I thought to myself "alright I will run them through the movement as well". After the obstacle course I was at the firing range and found five noobs, I ended up finishing all the infantry tutorial together with them. Then after the basic stuff was over I started explaining in game communication and little bits of (player (82DK to be exact)) lore, then over TEN noobs started gathering around me as if I were an old man telling a story to a bunch of kids.
I gave each and every one of them the rank of private and asked them if they wanted to shoot some big guns, and off we went to the howitzer tutorial. There were so many of them I could not count but I could not fit all of them into a single bus, we used a bus, a truck and a motorcycle to transfer them all. After that I showed them how to operate the howitzer and with the help of a 2Lt let them experience how it feels to be shelled.
My largest basic training class I had in at least a year. I forgot to take a picture of the class as I was too busy handling all the privates. I hope to see them in the future fighting along side me.

A command radio transmission arrived today, apparently I am at risk of being redeployed from the Ash Fields bridge post to the Origin north Checkpoint.
I have heard stories about constant warden incursion in the area... no wonders they need more people.
On the positive side, someone dropped a Sampo Auto rifle by the base. I tried it and it was quite an interesting thing, I never experienced that rate of fire on a rather old style looking rifle.
Really makes me wonder how hellish actual combat is....
