Colonial forces sieged into an enemy camp and pressed them all the way back into their town. They held strong and were keeping us back on the bridge that connected the town to our FOB. Unfortunately I was surrounded by AI and cut off from friendly forces. Then, two Wardens found me, but did not kill me. I was a mere medic, and to pay for my life, I gave them heals. They left me behind that area to maybe stay or something.
Later however, I found a way out. I crouched all the way back to the bridge and crossed it. There were still some enemies around there, but I gave them heals and recognized me as non hostile.
Then came a spicy teammate who shot me for helping the enemy (But that is what the proper medic is suppose to do). I hope I can more encounters with wardens like this, it does make for a good story like the movie Hacksaw Ridge.

The siege of Overlook Hill.
It was a cold day, soon after The Battle for Crumbling post and The Skirmish for control of Crumbling passage that the Warden war machine turned its gaze onto Overlook hill. Our defences were subpar at best and they were coming for us without delay. Our builders quickly took to the streets throwing up last-minute defences to be met by the Warden war machine. Those defences held for the time being and now it was a battle of attrition. Soon after we halted their advance, the Wardens overran our supply routes and just like that, The Battle for Overlook Hill turned into The Siege of Overlook Hill. Now with our supply chain cut off our only objective was to survive until it could be re-established. Many plans were formed to achieve this task but in the end, it was decided that taking Solas Gateway was our best option. After we took Solas Gateway from the Wardens there was a reignited sense optimism that Overlook Hill could survive and that the Wardens could be pushed back. Not even an hour passed before Solas Gateway was retaken by the Wardens. At this point, the writing on the wall said that Overlook Hill would fall within the day. It became very apparent that holding Overlook Hill was now just a delaying effort so that more defences could be built at The Latch. Eventually, Overlook Hill did fall and the war machine of The Warden Empire turned onto The Latch where we still fight to this day.

The Battle of Screaching Reaching (Reaching Tail)
I am sure all the participants of this war, back in the early months of 2019, remember this battle. Where 5 puny Colonial Clans stood against the biggest amount of 82DK in one battle, 51 Colonials from various groups + randoms vs 62 Wardens + Randoms in the Battle for Mousetrap and it's one in the kind, Missile Launch Site. Back when it was a Isolated Skirmish Region.
I am not gonna repeat what happened there, I could write a book about it, and there are better people who can tell you of how a small 2 man fight became one of the most notorious Ops in Foxhole, second to only the Jade Incident it self
In the night before the Launch of the Missile and after the Intial battle for the Site it self, both sides licked their wounds, the tired went to bed and the vigilanty went to work, either by standing guard, raids in the No Man's Lands or in their respective Logistics. That night, I came across my own nemesis, @inner pebble , the same fuck that and with his compatriots tried to stop the very Missile and the Ops me and others worked for weeks upon. But Instead of drawing arms, we sat down and talked, while the world around was in blazing fire in the midsts of all the raids going in the area.
Of all things that could have happened, for reasons unknown to me, Tin gave me a commendation, the last one I needed to be finally commissioned as a Second Leftenant in the Legion.
Commissioned into the Legion, by a Warden Officer, the same one I would battle again just mere hours later. Let that sink in for a second. In the end, I still didn't and don't know everything till this day but what I do know, is beyond the fire of war, there is more going on then what we see, on that Battlefield we all happen to share and keep.

It's Grizzly chambered in 9mm Winchester Magnum (9x29mm)
This explains why the ammunition for it is not interchangable with SMG ammo. which is 9mm parabellum (9x19).
The devs had it all thought through all along.

@simple seal Off-map fire support? I don't think it would fit in the world of Foxhole. I mean YOU are the fire support, it shouldn't be something that comes off map. It's what the game is all about. YOU are the logistics.
And so forth.
But it would make sense if Foxhole was turned into some sort of RTS game I suppose, sort of like Company of Heroes.

It's a good idea but like I said, it doesn't really fit in with the logic and background of Foxhole.
You don't order smoke from off map like in CoH, you ask people on the artillery/mortars or whatever to deliver it.
You coordinate with them, like in that scene from Kelly's Heroes where Kelly pays off that Mortar section sergeant or whatever to provide mortar fire on the town while they drive through it.
To cause confusion amongst the Germans.

My first day in the game, a logistic driver pick me up in a place where I had no idea where I was. He then opened a retro song while we were moving on a snowy land. The music was matching the atmosphere beautifully that I forgot the will of finding front line but instead enjoying the ride.
I asked him if he could change the radio channel. Then he tells me the voicechat buttons as he was using it to stream a radio station. I felt pity for a moment but who knows, maybe someday in the future, the trucks will have in-built radio stations.

@fiery spire Because lego don't make military models and Cobi's sets are cheaper. And they're just all around good but sadly lack some details which are fixable if you have the parts from other sets.
You also can't modify the models you're talking about and I grew up with Lego. Most kids nowadays are stuck on their computers anyhow so there's not as much interest in it as it used to be.

not drastically, sure, but a bit of reworking of the sprue can get you places
and besides they're detailed to the point where you don't need to modify them that much anyway

@pine anchor , yes you can, but the instructions are generated by the program, so some of the steps and the order doesnt make much sense
also i use both LDD and studio2.0 because there are some pieces which are available in one program but not in the other, and in this case the final model was built in studio so some of the pieces needed to build it are not available in LDD
studio also has the option to make a custom instructions booklet, but as far as i know you you have to design it page by page, creating the steps
and finally, sadly my model is not buildable in real life because in order to get the color scheme right i had to use some pieces specific colors which have never been produced by lego so they dont exists, or at least thats what bricklink says

@fiery spire also cobi is not a lego off-brand, since lego doesnt own the patent over the blocks design, and cobi has its own sets (most importantly the militar theme) and pieces which allow the to get better and more accurate military vehicle models.
i am actually a big fan of their products since they are a bit cheaper, and almost the same quality, and from my point of view some sets look pretty good

This is what a 16-yo me could make from real Lego pieces; the gun has elevation and depression, has multiple hatchs for cool out-of-hatch shots and was a quite realistic size besides the gun calibre

Before the next war starts and our previous achievements are gone with the wind, I need to tell you the story of one of 54CVs most adventurous operations: Operation Waterway.
Featuring: 54CVs very own waterway2, wintercube, Kearny, LanceByNight, myself and 1 freighter as well as 3 barges, 2 armored cars and 1 crane. We were also later joined by Nicki upon landing and delivering the transported goods.
As you can tell by the name, Operation Waterway was maybe the most recent naval operation and at least the first, I was a part of. The initial idea was a quick supply of the front, to aid the infamous push towards The Drowned Vale on the 7th of September. Yes, there were many chokepoints and bridges on our way while we were going to maneuver deep into enemy territory. However we wanted to take the risk nonetheless and hoped for Callahan to shine his light upon us.
But at first it seemed that Callahans benediction was not ours. After loading up the freighter with 5 containers of shirts, bmats, storm rifles and ammo, as well as mounting the barges with the crane and two armored cars, we quickly encountered our first enemy: the mapchange.
Upon entering Marban Hollow, suddenly half of our crew vanished and on first sight it seemed like the operation had come to a sudden and deadly halt. However the missing crew members as well as their vehicles appeared after what had been a way too long parting. All their vehicles? Sadly no. One armored car is to be missed forever. Not yet did the members of the operation know that Callahan himself accepted it as an offering to grant save passage and brought success to the operation.
Finding a proper landing site was just the last of many obstacles to take on our way. Like unblocking blocked pathways and maneuvering safe while being way too close for comfort to enemy territory. Because the war raged on in The Drowned Vale, which was scouted by the brave LanceByNight, it was unsure for some time, where the operation would come to a close. It was a spirited decision to head for the shipyard in Sop Fields while The Wash was being taken and The Baths was still under colonial resistance who did not want to accept their faith. Upon entering the chokepoint of The Wash, we were greeted by our fellow Warden soldiers who raised the bridge, saluted and granted us passage. We salute you, too, sons of Callahan!
And so we arrived the shipyard of Sop Fields at the dead of night.
Upon arrival we were greeted and saluted by ASS, who brought by a flatbed which we fuelled and loaded with our crates. As The Baths had just been taken, we decided to immediately supply it. It took three tours for our goods as we later could lay hands on previously captured flatbeds to convoy them over the narrow paths of The Baths. With our last tour, we delivered three containers at once which we were greeted and saluted for.
Operation Waterway had now come to a close. And what a great success it was. Hail the Warden Army. Hail the Warden Heros that lost their lifes that day. Hail Callahan.
