Hey creative people. I'm looking to make a recruitment propoganda poster for the Colonial womens corp or whatever. Any ideas? everything atm is WIP. I was thinking on the lines of "Restless? Unmarried? Looking for Excitement and Adventure? Enlist into the Colonial Womens Guard Now!" and have the girl with a talking bubble say in the lines of "The boys can't have/hog all the fun/glory! Right girls!" etc. Just browsing through the corny WW1+2 enlistment posters and trying to get an idea of what to make. Also any suggestions on the hair do? That's just a place holder.

The first one is an automatic rifle conversion for the standard Foxhole rifle (the unholy hybrid of Springfield and Garand)
The second one is a light machine gun using standard rifle stripper clips for ammo.
The third one is a 7.92mm universal machine gun, converted for infantry use.
In my mind, it will replace the HMG, with the 12mm becoming a mounted weapon only.

@Tycoh#0281 looks good. My only thing with what you're trying to do, is you might be walking in untreaded territory. In the world wars, women weren't being recruited except for the purposes of axillary, medical, and factory work. Any posters of the time period would probably relate to positions as such. Then again, the culture of the time had it incredibly discouraged to have women fighters, with the only nation to ever try enmass, to be the Soviet Union. Maybe the culture has shifted, and the war has come to encompass all, to the degree where it's accepted. Given what we've been told, it's reasonable to expect that those barriers have broken down, over the centuries of ceaseless fighting.

If the fronts are still away from major cities, then someone has to keep regular life of the country running, and that's women.
However, if the fronts frequently crash into these cities, then everyone has to join the fight.
That's just how it historically worked.

Fine, treat it as a voluntary mercenary company, commissioned by the Colonial's expeditionary invasion force, mostly made up of women. The devs said the war has been going on for decades and with that both sides would be looking for willing bodies to go to the front. Simply having barely a few thousand women on the front lines isn't going to have a dramatic affect on the homefront as we're assuming that these 2 factions are two first world/second world country conglomerates and cooperatives with populations numbering in the hundred millions, fighting each other mostly for viable living space. Would that sate your curiosity?

Moral boundaries? Pff. I've settled that both sides are pretty damn past most. They're willing to let women fight, but self preservation for the civilization requries a significant enough portion to not be fighting, and instead having children. All? Not neccessarily. Some moral boundaries are still in place, those that keeps society functioning, but some probably didn't exist in the first place, or have been stripped away as the fighting devolved over the centuries of fighting. personally, I think the pillboxes and barbed wire should be further away
to allow defenders to walk between the pillboxes and walls if it's really dangerous out there

I was told the Pillboxes can shoot above the Foxholes, sadly I was in a hurry since we were under attack from time and time
Yeah, well sadly the building mechanics is wierd, so I cannot place the wire close enough to both Pillboxes, so I ended up with that
But hey, the main reason for this wall is to tell the attackers "Hey, we got enough defence to last a bloody long siege, do you really want to attack this side? Go somewhere else"

I've found that to be most effective, you need howitzer coverage right at your walls and reaching out from your walls, so building one far back to defend when they're at your gates and building one much farther up to harass enemies forming to attack is super effective.

Also, you don't really need two covering the same 'killzone', since they reload so fast. You can't even load them fast enough to keep up with two howitzers, much less make shells fast enough.

Well, I'm a self-proclaimed Combat Engineer, I love making these kind of forts when I ge the time myself, and a small number of supporters (not to affect everything else), so we can cut off one of the Strategic locations of the enemy
Like on Callahan's Passage, everytime I start there on a new fresh war, I speed gather to get a truck, and rush over to ScΓ‘th Passing to create a wall + foxholes there to hold them off
Then slowly upgrade it, while some unlucky bastards driving trucks (It has happened 5 times so far) Drive Straight into the gate and gets mowed down by the foxholes and sometimes the Pillboxes

i was really glad that mark was willing to teach me how to play
there's a lot of moving parts to this game, but overall, the complexity leaves a deeper game
the ability to build stuff on the battlefield is amazing though
never seen anything quite is fluid as that for an MMO type game
