Yeah I had the same thought. I did it this way because I felt like I wanted the Colonial defence of the shore to be less.... supplied. With the connecting road between well and enduring post, it meant the colonials could bring more weapons to bear at the 'd-day' scenario than the wardens could... making it an impossible task
Plus - it means that the wardens have the advantage of flexibility. It can shift all its supply lines to Brackish, or it can shift them all to taking Woodbind.
The colonials get the advantage of a defensive position, but much less flexibility
Since the advantage of the colonials in this new map is that both fronts are impossibly hard to attack... so the wardens needed something
