Got bored and decided to make fictional flags for the different States of the Mesean Republic, same way I did for the Nevish Alliance.
The explanations for the symbols are the following:
- Aktío: Laurel wreaths, no reason, just thought it looked cool.
- Estrella: Stars, "estrella" means star in Spanish.
- Kraunia: Cogs, represents the mighty Kraunian industry.
- Leiloa Fa: Represents both the dunes of their deserts and the sea.
- Picaria: Spears, "pica" means spear in a lot of latin languages.
- Veli: Stylised V, based on the symbol of the Velian Republican Colonials.
- Mesea: Standard flag of the Mesean Republic.

Its a complete summary of the Foxhole timeline, to the best of my ability and that of the collective brain power of the Lore Chat community (we share 4 braincells).
Dont take is as gospel, lot of it is bound to change as we dig deeper and discover new stuff. But yeah, just wanted to share it.

Historical context of the logo:
In August of 1942, Brazil, after a period of heightened tensions and escalating U-boat attacks, declared war on Germany and Italy. In consultation with America it was decided to create the Brazilian Expeditionary Force (BEF) and send them to fight in the European theater of operations. This proved easier said than done, and it took over two years between the declaration of war and the actual deployment of Brazilian combat troops into the ETO. This led many Brazilians to say that only "when snakes smoke" will the BEF go to war.
But by mid-1944 they were ready, and proudly wearing their patch of a smoking snake and calling themselves "Cobras Fumantes" or Smoking Snakes (a pretty classy flex on their haters if I do say so myself). While there were a number of logistical hurdles to still overcome, they eventually entered battle in late November 1944 at Monte Castello. While it took a total of 89 days to eventually wrest the heights from the German defenders, the men of the BEF acquitted themselves well as a brave and effective fighting force.
Their actions also changed the meaning of the phrase in Brazilian society -- now when someone says "a cobra vai fumar" or "the snake will smoke" it means that something will definitely happen.

Art in memory of the bloody, back-and-forth, and very fun fighting north of Scrying Belt on the last Saturday of WC103 - when the relentless, accurate, and well-defended rocket HTs of CoC endured the suicidal onslaught of BOAT jeep rushes and recon squads. This is kind of a collage of a dozen different engagements, with the wrecks of tanks and Icarus (es? Icarii?) littering the snow in front of a concrete base anchoring the north flank of Nevish Line. In the end the concrete base survived the rain of fire rockets but Scrying Belt fell overnight - and the war would be lost for the Legion not long after.

Ну такой вот примерно усредненный танк, потому что вариаций масса.
Берется Балиста, она не улучшается по ТТХ , улучшать- это не про моего инженера. Он берет этот танк, запихивает его на принтер и начинает "Модернизировать". Добавляет в него огромное количество рматов, четвертых материалов, бматов и симатов САЛЬВАГИ! Для брони, башни от ЛТ и БТ сверху. Все это делается до ночи. Потом убирая с принтера и запихивает на склад. Потом инженер вытащив и щедро полив петролем начинает ехать. При этом едет с скоростью улитки шкрябая по дороге от веса танка. Едет и приговаривает полушепотом ух бля. При этом у него на лбу аж пот выступает. Любезно мне иногда предлагает покататься с ним, но я отказываюсь. Надо ли говорить о том что с нашей фабрикой потом? Все сломано , что стены заводов отклеиваются.

An Update from the Deadlands:
Green: Colonial occupied territory
Blue: Warden occupied territory
Black: Higly contested Front
Grey: Minor Contested Front
White: No Fighting
Arrows: Direction of offensives
What has happened in the last days?
The Wardens did many pushes to take the Plaza. They actually archieved this.
But after a long time of bridge fighting, the Colonials were able to cross the still
fucntional bridge and the Wardens had to retreat to a safer position.
Minor pushes to take back the Plaza are still happening but there is no main offensive
reported since then. The Colonial mission is currently to take callahans Boot.
The Colonial and Wardish troops clashed in Pommel annex yesterday and fighting is
still raging on. Both sides digged in and are now included in intense trench combat.
around 10 colonial Troops from Hopes Causeway(The Pits) also tried to cross the Bridge
into Callahans Boot, but the Wardens were just in time to destroy the bridge and so the
Colonial entry into callahans Boot from Hopes Causeway is declined for now.
Heavy artillery shelling from both sides is going on since around yesterday.
While the wardens concentrate on destroying the Colonial infrastructure, the Colonials
are targeting the wardish troops to make the advance easier.
There is no sign of any side currently retreating from their position near Callahans Boot.
I Hope i could have helped everyone who is in a different region and wonders what is currently
happening in the Deadlands!

Hi all, something I thought up in a dream right before I woke up this morning. In the dream, I was playing a Foxhole-themed RTS in Roblox (The Conquerors comes to mind, even though I haven't played that in, like, a decade, and I don't really play Roblox anymore). I sketched it real quick before I forgot about it: a Silverhand converted to a combat car. This isn't what it looked like, but I think it gets the idea across. Don't know why this would exist but knowing the Warden arsenal I wouldn't be surprised. V1.2.0 of the Foxhole Infantry Builder is now out - alongside the medic uniforms for both factions, this update adds a hero unit to each faction!
The Wardens get the famous and long-serving Capt. Maverick "Tank Hunter" Marauder (@vale hare), popular amongst Caoivish artists and renowned for his custom field armour and expert skills with the 20 Neville Anti-Tank Rifle!
The Colonials get the new and promising "Bane Girl" (@limpid inlet), who has adopted the Bane 45 as her primary weapon in dealing with Warden armour. Sources say she's to star in an upcoming Mesean propaganda film!
You can get both of these hero units, and everything else in the Foxhole Infantry Builder, in the top comment of the thread in the replied post above! A big thanks to the two mentioned above for being hugely helpful in the process of getting these famous characters into Tabletop Simulator! 😊

Deadlands in Beyond All Reason (BAR)
Deadlands BAR Map made by me, map texture is from the Improved Map Mod by Rustard
Map's features:
- T1-T3 roads give speed boosts, offroad debuffs tank speeds, sand debuffs all units' speeds. Roads are more blast resistant
- World Base locations are uber-buffed metal nodes. They're also the only metal nodes in the map
- "Out of Bounds" of the hex is just water. It's still part of the "playable" area, so to speak
- Bridges are counted as roads, so more boom needed to kill it (but you can deform or block them). Commanders' "Restore terrain" repairs them
- Unfortunately, Singeplayer only. Since BAR devs don't allow unofficial maps on their online servers

I own a volta for facility defense, since that what the Thea Maro intended. Four partisans break into my facility. "Warden Bias!" As i grab my grenadier uniform and Volta Repeater rifle. Blow a bomastone sized hole through the first man, he`s dead on the spot. Draw my ferro at the second man, miss him entirely because i cant shadowdance and kills a logi car driving by the road. I have to resort a RSC mounted at large assembly station loaded with 300mm shell, "FOR THE END IS OUR GLORY" the 300m shell shreds two wardens in the blast, the big boom also destroys half of my facility. Fix bayonet and charge the last terrified femboy. He bleeds out waiting on qrf to arrive since qrf always late. Just as the Thea maro intended

Most of you probably don’t remember, but ages ago me and @slate reef offered a sacrifice to the Old Gods to grant us victory in our struggle.
Yesterdays trip has made us come full circle, and we properly completed the puzzle involved with the statues.
Also I took my revenge for the shot. Eye for an eye… Hopefully the Gods have been appeased and victory will come soon enough!
