I made a little family tree
it isnt much but i wanted to share a nice story. Maybe 3-4 years ago I met a guy named Laughing. This inspiring man Led a group named the Rangers, We had a lot of fun but he eventually disappeared 1 or 2 years later I reformed the rangers into the 2ndRC and restored parts of the old guard. at some point after my merger whit whit the 42nd Sigma I realized that the spirit of my old commanders regiment had spread. whit several other regiments popping up originating from my old regiment on both sides.
idk i just find it a as a nice story of what cool and nice connections can be made through this game regardless of factions. Foxhole stories can be cool

*In the first encounter against the Murmillo class Medium Automata, Warden forces could scarcely believe the existence of a shock Mech, striding into battle at speeds only Light Mechs could achieve, bringing their devastating "Pillion" Heavy Lance to bear against slower moving Tanks, shattering turrets and turning venerable Warden steel into scrap metal with a single blast from their pneumatic Pilebunkers. It was speculated that the Murmillo class Medium Mech was an elite mech used only by the most daring of Colonial mech pilot.
However, that was simply far from the truth. To the Colonial Mech pilot, the "honor" of piloting one such a machine was often a mark of disgrace: it's light armor, exposed limb actuators and fortified glass cockpit window meant that the mech was severely limited in it's engagement options. Add to that it's extremely close quarters weaponry, it was exceedingly rare for a Murmillo Pilot to even survive their first battle. It has since earned the nickname "The Glass Coffin" among pilots.
The Murmillo, so named after slave soldiers who fought for the entertainment of spectators in grand arenas in the past, was often used as a punishment. Whenever a Colonial grouping from the smallest Star to the largest Legio demonstrates disgraceful actions in battle or cowardice, such soldiers would be subected to Decimatio: one in ten pilots would often be summarily executed by their peers in the Star formation. This execution may come in the form of a death by bludgeoning or piloting a Murmillo.
In combat, the Murmillo stands taller than even a Gladion Class Medium Automata, using its tall stride to swiftly close the gap on the move. Armed with a heavy pressure Pilebunker, the device used to blast solid rock in mining is used to unleash a powerful blow that could crumple steel plate upon impact. Armed with a mere 10-inch thick personal shield and a single volley of RPG rockets, the Murmillo is a close ranged mech to the extreme.*

A few wars ago, after a long and harsh fight, we took the town of Longstone. Everyone was ecstatic of the hard fought victory, and as our soldiers were bringing equipment and being busy around the liberated townhall, I came across this guy, sitting on his own by a campfire. He was playing guitar and singing on his mic. At first I thought it was a voice pad, but I was mistaken. The guy started singing songs on demand as people began gathering around him.
We stayed there for quite a long time, listening to sea shanties, folk songs... sometimes singing all together while everyone was bustling.

Im not really a person of many words but i just want to say that without a doubt this game rests in a special spot in my heart. The players ive encountered in game through out the years and the ones ive seen in the community, its hard to put simply in words what kind of effect that had on me and no doubt others here aswell.
I say this seriously when i say that i wouldn't trade the time i had playing this game for anything else.
I want to dedicate this piece to the artists and individuals through out that time. To the ones that sing, paint, draw, write, and fight for a good cause, thank you. you guys made the days just a little brighter.

*The Lanista was considered a veritable "upgrade", so to speak, of the Murmillo Class Medium Automata. Eschewing it's shield and single volley RPG loadout for it's left arm, instead it is armed by an even more powerful Pneumatic Hammer that could easily smash through the thickest armor possible fielded by most Warden vehicles and Mechs. In exchange, it loses what little defensive capabilities it had. The Lanista is a modification fielded only by the most brave (or insane) Colonial Mech Pilot who would trade what little defensive capability the Murmillo frame had in exchange for an even stronger close ranged weapon.
To this day, you can count on one hand how many Lanista pilots survived their first sortie.*

All the art, songs, videos and other contents are what made me join Foxhole. The content creators are pillars of our community.
I tried it myself with the CoA audio-play and it just made me realize how hard the content creators and how passionate they are : I'm so thankful we have them and we can enjoy everything they do. But they obviously need a good community to be motivated, let's not repeat the errors of the past and work to make ourselves better.

I met a lot of wonderful people in Foxhole community. I've spent almost two awesome years that only this community could have gave me. Foxhole gave me the opportunity to start several project aside messing around on the front with friends. I started a independent radio broadcast which only lasted for 4 episodes but people feedbacks were really heart warming. I draw sometimes Foxhole fanarts. I then started my own newspaper to tell about the stories of the community and once again, people were always ready to take part in it, correct me when I made mistakes and giving me motivation when I was in poor mood and this allowed me to join PressCorps eventually.
But all this projects were not possible without the work of a bunch of people. I met in this community a lot of talented content creators who inspired me and/or helped me to become better. I would like to thanks this people with this piece.

Hey Everyone just a final notice that there is at the time of this post 24 Hours remaining in the [Foxhole February Art Contest]. Several people have raised the issue over the small amount of time remaining, however, to be as fair as possible, the closing time will remain 12:01 PM PST. I know the pressure is on but part of being creative is also working around limitation.
(I'm currently doing that on other projects so im right there with ya.)

It's been 5 years since I first logged into this persistent world. I saw the game evolve and the community grow over the years, it's been quite the journey. And even if I recently had to step down from the game itself I thought this would be the opportunity to take a few hours and being foxy for a bit.

War 100 is by far the longest, bloodiest and surprisingly the most toxic war in Foxhole history (As far as I had heard). It has cost the comment a great artist known as Cev, an artist who once worked on map updates and fun comics for us to enjoy.
I am participating in this contest to honour the works of artists like Cev and encourage others to join and participate in improving the social environment within our community.
I hope my artwork would encourage our community to celebrate in place of bitter resentment when the war inevitably ends. Forgoing sleep i will have a short video up on my channel tomorrow (Monday) announcing the community voting period, and the Art Poll will be up on my channels Community tab tomorrow. But obviously we all win doing stuff like this. Not just metaphorically but we might also have the means to do this again in the near future, so if you couldn't get your art in this time perhaps next time (though the theme will change slightly when we run this again, we will also listen to feedback for future competition setups).

I wear a Gunners Breastplate for home defense because thats what Callahan would have intended.
Four collies break into our base. “What the devil!?” as I grab my gas mask and Brasa shotgun. I turn the first goblin into swiss cheese, he’s dead on the spot. Reload and fire on the second one, miss him entirely and disable my mates truck. I have to resort to the mounted Cutler on top of the bunker loaded with RPGs, “Cally-ho lads!”. It kills two goblins in one blast, the damage to the nearby structures almost gets me weapons restricted. The last terrified bolonial fixes bayonets and charges at me, but is unable to penetrate my armour of pure warden steel. I quickly down him and begin to teabag on his bleeding body as I wait for my officers to arrive to swiftly kick me out of the regiment.
Just like Callahan intended.

Blow a golf ball sized hole through the first man, he's down on the spot. Launch my Ignifist on the second man, miss him entirely and nails a a tankette parked nearby. I have to resort to the infantry support gun mounted at the top of the stairs loaded with 30mm High Explosive, "LEGIO INVICTA!" the shell shreds two men in the blast, the extra shrapnel obliterates a friendly medic. Fix bayonet and charge the last terrified northerner. He Bleeds out waiting for his mates to arrive since as i promptly leave the base before getting shot by my NCO.
Ah! Just like Legate Maro intended!

The most part of Caoiva is now under Warden control and armed forces carry on pushing toward the east. Incredibly sorry, but the old lore summary had a ton of horrid spelling mistakes that I just couldnt be allowed to stand. Thankfully, someone brought them to my attention, so I fixed them. I also fixed some minor details to make it overall better. The old post will just be deleted.
Once again, I recommend the "Bandit Radio" from S.T.A.L.K.E.R to listen to while reading, it proved to be quite fitting after all!

Spotting seems like a role that'd be perfect for beginners, but because of the knowledge required of the game to make accurate callouts, many times newbies can't serve as spotters. So I thought it would be interesting if I made what amounts to "Infocards" for most vehicles you'd see on any typical frontline. These cards are primarily made for discord, and allow green players to easily identify enemy vehicles, as well as quickly get a basic understanding of what the vehicle is, what it does, and what it looks like. So Far I've only done the Colonial Vehicles, and I called it "The Field Spotter's Handbook". Here's an example, as well as the entire set to download:

It's been a while since I started to play this game, I've met a lot of people who is kind and wholesome in this community.
I must say it was a great time, I've learned things like communication. You guys have been the driving force for me to improve my drawing skills by leaps and bounds. Whether it's a reaction, a comment, or even a meme. But lately, I've felt that sometimes I've gone beyond my abilities. Until my art style is uncertain or even trying to draw something that is impossible Until the work came out looking bad.

The 52nd has not designated area and are often seen moved to any front where they are needed, though lately there has been rumours of them being assigned to the Weathering front.
