Because Foxhole is fiercely competitive environment that takes a lot of concepts from battlefield environment. You can for example take a bunch of Squad players and tell them to go through a training murderhouse, and they will probably perform comparatively decently even without having much physical training.
They will naturally fall apart in a combat environment with its stresses, but theory is still there and appliable to a reasonable degree
