I know the exact battle this was for. Where the Germans sent out gas trying to take a Polish fort from the Russians for the 3rd time. They had 3 battalions there to try and take it and still failed after the Russians managed to survive the gas with little cloths that they took or made. Scared the s**t outta the Germans when they noticed they were still alive and caused a full rout. Then almost every Russian dropped dead because those cloths really did nothing.

Whether or not you build the trench is based off if the people are shooting you, or could shoot the people that would be walking through it.

Basically if they can shoot down the trench line and hit a person advancing , don't build it.

Oh and any trench that is meant to be temporary, don't upgrade it beyond its initial form.

the real truth is to realize that the biased faction is always the one that has been losing. This most recent war it was clear to see the wardens had bias behind them with their early war tech and the tide of the war only changed when both sides had their tanks unlocked. You might say that the counter push from the colonials is proof of hard coded bias but using the “tap-offs” as a measurement of determination, the colonials are much more determined to make this war a win than wardens with a score of 5 to 1

There's also VTOL VR, which is an amazing game if you like flying but don't have they flight controller setup

You pretty much use your hands in cockpit. It works surprisingly well.

I think they've recently released a DLC for the game that adds a helicopter. Haven't played around with it, yet.
