there's 2 levels of voice comms, local and squad, then in text there's a variety of levels of text chat like world team, logi team, intel team (which are all cross-region,) then region team, local all, stuff like that (also squad and regiment chat for those specific things)
overall, team coordination varies, with this new player surge, I've heard that communication can be hit-or-miss in terms of how the information gets used or passed along. I'd recommend finding a particular group to work with if you desperately need communication to play the game in any coordinated way
there is no roster or corkboard-like thing to put plans up on ingame for everyone to know who's doing what where, so discord or teamspeak are usually used to group up clans

in the ideal scenario, which I have no clue if it's realistic or not, I'd want to help the effort by talking with those who take charge in different regions and move the info around

basically if one squad knows there's enemy movement in a specific region, they tell me and I tell the next fighting squad closest to the area that's not doing something actively
or try to notice somewhere we could send someone that has nothing to do without ending up sending them somewhere useless due to lack of comms

From what I can tell, a red border only appears between two regions that are completely claimed by opposing factions. The red line means that border bases can be made by players along that region. It used to be that you could make a border base at the border between a contested region and a fully claimed region, but in some cases that made it really easy to create partisan bases and so now you can only make the border bases when you completely claim the region

from what i have seen is that roleplay games are growing incredibly like Fivem, dayz, rust, gmod and etc. if clapfoot made a game based on Foxhole but with mods focused on roleplay it would be incredible. or maybe just a platform like gmod but with a focus on the isomeric game mode where players could create mods, their own servers, etc. platforms that allow players to create mods exist in droves but I think it would be a different one with a focus on isometric games. and let's suppose if a Mod was successful within this platform it could serve as future projects for clapfoot just like Valve did with counter strike in which it was a mod from Half Life and became a successful stand alone.
