Hi Guys, I'm a total newbie in this game, bought it yesterday and I really can't understand how the flatbed trucks and stationary cranes work. Could you please gtell me how to pack any goods from the let's say refinery or depot into a container, and put it on the flatbed truck using stationary crane? The crane never works for me, it just stays inactive, and I have no idea what to do. Any help?

press the button to pack it
jump in the crane using Q and move the arm of the crane over the cargo
once the grabber claw gose white you left click and pick it up
move it over an unlocked flatbed and you can drop it off
and to remove cargo just do the same thing but in reverce

Yes as lot of them are. Lot of them were also destroyed by Germans. I know theres one artillery fort that has a lot of holes from many German gun tests (none actually gone through) but theres also lot of them privately owned by people who reconstruct them as well as museums. The map actually shows what state each fort is in.
As for the stealing by locals most of the steel bits were stolen by Germans to fuel the German war economy. Theres one bunker that was vandalised by one "artist" that made me really mad.

the lower you go, the better the stuff get, but also it gets more exensive
on each trier you can unlock 1 thing from the left side
and all the things from the right side will be unlocked along with that
how do you chose what is being unlocked?

after a set ammount of prototypes have been made for the tier
(number unlcear, but somwhere within 100)
the vechicle that was prototyped the most, wins
each prototype cost some aluminum/iron to make
these resources randomly drop while gathering salvage (and only then)
after you have a prototype kit, you can use it in massive production factory, to get a weaker version of vechicle, ahead of time
but it's a bad idea, it costs more, it cannot be repaired outside of vechicle garage
also note that you can skip tiers
which is when you prototype a vechicle from a tier lower than the 100% one
you have a chance to fail, and then you get nothing
there isn't even any progress in tech tree
