So, my idea is that basically you can run a certain command (Say "!Test", followed by the command you want to test: "!Test Welcome"), and it will do that command. You set it up so that it will execute it as anyone who has a specified role on the server just joined.
So, lets say your server has 5 people who work on the bots, you give them a "Bot Dev" role, and when you test it, it will be run as if one of those 5 people joined.
Another option is to have it send the message, but any @ mentions will be (somehow) no-parsed, so they don't mention that person, but you see that it will mention a person if they join

What does it do?
Basically, my request is simple. Have the ability to make a form require a person to have either:
- Had a role for "x" amount of time
- Been part of the server "x" amount of time.
This is useful on applications for staff, as you can ensure that someone who applies has been part of the server for at least "x" time. And, if you have multiple "levels" of moderaters (officers and moderaters), you could make it so that someone must be a moderater for "x" amount of time before they can send the officer submission!
So, maybe you can't apply to be a moderatertor for at least 30 days. Then, to apply to be an officer, you must be a moderater for at least 90 days!

What does it do?
Basically, you can add a an "auto-role" feature. If enabled, an "aprove/ deny" button becomes availiable. If you hit "aprove", it gives whoever submited the form a role!
This is especially useful for staff applications, as what you can do is have it so that moderaters and such can view and vote on it, while officers can approve or deny it. If approved, that person automatically gets the "moderater" role!
Much easier than a "Well, we think he'll be a good moderater, we will give him the role"
only to find out someone else had already done it, or someone else had decided to deny it, but forgot to mention it

If Dyno logs an action from a user with an animated icon, like me, more than a couple of times in a row, it will essentially crash the mobile Discord app when you click on the channel that contains the action logs. The app freezes and is unusable, you could potentially get stuck even if you restart the app cause it opens to the last channel you were in. This is because it has to load the animated avatar of the user(s) the logged action(s) is from.

Reason: my server collects certain cards that are sent from the bots response as an embed of the card, but there is no way of seeing what each member has collected without making separate channels for each member to look back on all of the cards they got from responses from the bot. I used to have the bot dm users so they had their own convo collection but its inconvenient when dealing with rules. A simple collection command would be absolutely amazing so members can use the command and see everything the bot has sent them all in one embed with list/buttons or something

What I mean: This is a premium feature, so it is quite silly that you can only have one filter per channel. It should allow multiple filters for the channel so that you can have it detect and delete more than just a single word.

There are a ton of helpful looking features which are worth considering for a premium membership, but with how unreliable the first feature is that I'm trying, makes me skeptical. This is because it has to load the animated avatar of the user(s) the logged action(s) are from.

How?: You can use https://discord.com/developers/docs/interactions/message-components#text-inputs to allow that for in-app message (pic 1), and you can obviously add a text box underneath accept/deny buttons on the website. It will look very similar to Twitch ban appeals if you're familiar with that, but I did a dirty inspect element job to visualize how it might look like in pic 2.
Why?: So I can explain why having a pro-russian extremist profile picture is a big no-no in my server to a random stranger instead of simply a screen showing "you're banned, appeal denied". I always try to give people a second chance, but when I do so I would like to make sure they understand where they were wrong so they don't have a problem again, and when they got denied I would like to tell them why, or if I am really pissed off I would like to have another chance to shit on them again xd. I currently have my forms set up so it basically says "mail appeal@pcislocked.net or add me on discord so we can have a convo about this" to achieve that, and that is a bit too extreme I think, but it works well so that only people who cares enough reaches out instead of likely troublemakers trying to squeeze back in. Thus I think having a reason input here will be nice for most people, and for most of my cases. Most appeals we got are usually resolved within 2-4 mails, so having a convo is really rare and having dyno forms will almost remove the need for using mail.

What it would look like: 1 other bot does your normal captcha or login with another account verification, then you get a specific role from that verification, next you setup reaction roles, the user reacts and get specific role, then dyno will react and remove the first role that Dyno would be configured to remove and the user would then keep it's new role. So all it does is automatically remove a role based on whether or not that user has a specific role.

What I Mean: Say you have multiple bots setup for verification, obviously any of the other bots can't anticipate what role a user will get and if you have verification setup, you don't want bots automatically giving out roles. What it looks like: User gets verification role from a bot, dyno detects user now has verification role. Dyno then gives user another role, whether that be a temporary role or a permanent role. I just tried to implement wildcards, and no, autoresponder does not respond to file uploads because it's not text. I find anything that can potentially help upgrade security within discord, a very important step into making more discord servers safe and secure.

What I mean: So right now in the module for AutoMod, the bot has a few things it can do on it's own. I think it would be great if we were able to automatically warn someone in addition to timing them out. I know there is a verbal warn system, but what I'm missing is an actual way of warning a user where the warnings stay on their account. As someone who manages a server almost fully alone, it would be great to have this when I'm not available. If a user comes in and starts mass spamming links every 20 minutes (because I've got my mute timer set lower) they can just keep doing this untill I get back. If they were to actually get warns, the Autopunsh section under the Moderation module could actually ban them since they'd be getting multiple warnings on their account!

Feature request is that you can have roles given automatically to individuals who come from a =specific discord invitation link= so that you can identify where an individual joined from.
What I mean: With this feature you can have set invitations, and have those invitations at different places. So if you are a streamer, you can have a discord link provided there and anyone who joins would immediately be flagged as "comes from a streamer discord link" and additionally you could have another discord link elsewhere, say a forum or something, and then when they join from there it would auto-role them as a "comes from a forum". It would allow server owners to identify where people are joining from. This is also a feature I would pay for. >_>

I suggest adding a functionality where, for selected voice channels, a person will receive a role (or local permissions on the channel) to "Connect" after entering, so that he or she can share the screen, and will lose them after leaving/kicking from the channel.

What I mean: The user cannot enter the server until they have filled out the form. Dyno integrates with the Shopify store and has access to the customer email list data to confirm if their profile is tagged with a specific tag. If not tagged with a specific tag, they have 2 more chances to enter the question correctly (their email for this instance) before being denied access and they will have to contact our support team.
This is needed to keep track of the active members as well as cancelled members in the server, so we can remove them automatically, rather than having to scrape through all 100+ members' emails to see who is active and who has cancelled but still remains in the server.

Polls are noisy and just get buried. Even in a channel that is just polls they get buried. No one is scrolling up to find old polls and certainly no one is scrolling to see the result.
What’s the solution? Polls as forum threads. The poll question becomes the title. Perhaps allow a description in the thread body. Dyno can then post in the thread whenever someone clicks on a reaction.
What this solves? Polls become easily browsable by simply looking at the forum thread list. The winning option is also displayed in the thread list. Recently responded to polls get bumped to the top of the list. Users can discuss the results of the poll without creating a lot of noise that buries the poll and all other polls.

What I mean: Adding advanced tools similar to a popular bots when you config, that include customize filter and more tools about edit messages control and more.
Example: If someone edit a safe message and turn into a dangerous message, Dyno could perform mods actions such kick, ban, warn, etc.
YagPDB got it by his own advanced features, but not everyone are understanding how it's works. If you can do a better user friendly interface to customize features of Automod, this could be awesome. Similar approach to automations found inside Guilded bots creations system or IFTTT

If Dyno logs an action from a user with an animated icon, like me, more than a couple of times in a row, it will essentially crash the mobile Discord app when you click on the channel that contains the action logs. The app freezes and is unusable, you could potentially get stuck even if you restart the app cause it opens to the last channel you were in. This is because it has to load the animated avatar of the user(s) the logged action(s) are from.

Why on earth would someone want that?! I have a bright idea (💡) on how to create a, hopefully, efficient trap for spam bots.
It consists of a channel that attracts bots, as i've figured out a certain channel on my server is a bot-magnet and i have a pretty good idea why.
If an account without roles sends a message in that channel they will be banned forever and their message deleted

It would be a very helpful feature for Moderators in big servers such as myself, to keep track of users who keep changing their name to avoid punishments and/or to avoid their bad reputation.

CarlBot has this feature, but they do not use AutoMod, so phantom messages are left any time the bot deletes non-image posts (as if someone posted their message and immediately deleted it afterwards). The application is that normal users can showcase pictures of their creations without a moderator needing to manually delete any text responses or reprimand users for talking in the channel.

What I mean: Lets say I own a big server and I want to unban everyone that was banned. Currently this is not possible unless you go to the ban list and unban everyone one by one, which will take a long time.
So, if you add a command like ?unbanall, all users that were banned from the server would be unbanned. Make sure to add a confirmation button that you have to press when executing this command.
It would be a very helpful feature for staff in big servers such as myself, incase we want to unban everyone from the server to have a fresh start.

What I Mean: When using ?lockdown, you can add a message after the command and it will be displayed in all locked down channels (see sample below). This is great for letting people know there's a lockdown, but for folks who are newer to discord and may not have any idea of what's going on it can be confusing if that message is still there after the lockdown has ended. I would propose adding the ability to specify a message after ?lockdown end in the same way you can for ?lockdown and have it post the message in all unlocked channels with a green (rather than red) embed and an unopened lock icon. Alternatively, allow the ability to have Dyno delete all of the "Channel Locked" messages once the lockdown has ended or update that same "Channel Locked" embed with a "Channel Unlocked" message (and change color from red->green).

If a user runs afoul of the chat filter, warn them AND give them the option to fix the message, by returning to edit mode.
Unfortunately, the Dyno bot doesn't seem to give the user the benefit of the doubt and let them edit their message to comply with server rules.
Currently, you post, you get a warning for a few seconds and then your message gets deleted.
1 - that is a bad faith assumption on the bot's part and doesn't let people fix their posts.
2 - the effort that was put in to typing the message is wasted as there is no back up copy.
3 - people that were miffed about triggering the filter are now REALLY MAD, because they were chastised for something they could fix and now their message is gone too.
Looking at the bot's options (https://docs.dyno.gg/en/modules/automod), it doesn't seem like "warn and edit" is a choice?
People losing their posts, even if innocently, makes their aggro jump from [0-2] to about 9, instantly. You want users to be able to amend their posts and learn from whatever triggered the automod.
As it stands, the current action of scolding the user and deleting their message only escalates the situation.
Give the poster the benefit of the doubt, allow them to comply with the server rules and they get to make their post.

Also, this feature barely works. It only dm's for the specific phrase being said, and if its a short phrase like "hello" or some single word, it won't even direct message you. Maybe even adding the ability to change the sensitivity of the feature based on user, or even serverwide preference.

My suggestion implies that it should still try to complete all tasks, and therefore attempt to unban, even if it could not dm (Expected result: Tells us it couldn't dm, and that the unban was successful).

This process is similar to how there's already an Appeal Form that we can either approve or reject. - If a mod wants to investigate what's happening in that chat, they can click on the reported message, read through it, and then right-click on the message to issue a warning. This enables mods to issue a warning discreetly without publicly revealing themselves and potentially receiving backlash.

I would like the lockdown end command to automatically delete the bot messages that it initially sends when lockdown begins.

What I mean: My yearly request to make categories actually usefulagain. It used to be that you could still simply pull up a categorized tag with just ?tag tagname. This was deemed a bug and """fixed""" in 2021 to now require the usage to be ?tag categoryname tagname. This is clunky, unintuitive, and so outright useless that even this official Dyno discord doesn't bother to categorize their tags. Which means you either end up with a wonderfully cluttered and messy list of tags to squint through, or a clunky command that people struggle to use.
Ideally, the ability to edit already-categorized tags, as well as moving existing tags into a category would help make categories a useful feature again instead of a dead one.

I don't see a need for that with minor warnings.

For instance, if we have a discord's automod rule called "No slurs", which blocks any kind of slurs from sending. Sure dyno itself has an automod much like Discord's, but Discord's has become more preferable & efficient.

Request: Add custom ban reasons to Automod rules
What I mean: Automod rules have a Custom Response field. Upon violation of the rule, users are sent this message in private. This is not practical for Automod rules that are set to auto or instant ban, the user never sees that message. Instead they are sent whatever default, bogstandard ban message ( You have been banned from XYZ server. ) and appeal form. This means the banned user does not have context of why they were banned like we can give with custom commands, and leads to a poor appeal process and experience.
It would be great if either Custom Response was also sent upon ban of the user (which we could then use to send through a bespoke appeal form), or a separate field for the same purpose was added.

At the moment if someone leaves the server it is not possible to add to the notes against their account. You can still retrieve their modlogs and notes by using their User Id number rather than their name. It would be really useful to be able to add notes being able to use their ID.
For example if the user left to evade being moderated but might come back or if they left due to the actions of another user we could note the circumstance to be able to reassure them it was dealt with if they return at a later time

What I mean: When a server owner decides to do an overhaul of any scale to their server, their actions gets logged and eventually floods the log. Thus, obstructing effective tracking of other user actions. Currently, the Ignored Roles setting only concerns deleted messages. If possible, can this be expanded to apply to all of the actions tracks via this module's settings?
Would it also be possible to allow the log to be posted to a separate channel with its own settings to differentiate between a moderator's audit trail and an administrator's audit trail?

Can Dyno's Development Team consider of adding a option into logs or other send messge to, to other Servers. It would be possible by generating the Discord User ID from the user who set up the server, and as to get send to other server, you'd have to be an Owner of that specific server.
Hard to explain, but I think you might know what I am talking about.

What I mean: What if someone won't stop editing their messages, flooding the mod logs channel infinitely, but this is their writing style? I wouldn't want to risk disabling logging edited messages and not seeing a bad edited message just because I don't want to have the channel flooded by someone that types like this. It'd be beneficial if you could have Dyno ignore specific users for this function for situations like this where you can't change how someone chooses to type.
I do understand if you guys disagree, though. It could and should only be used for trustworthy people that you KNOW won't break the rules knowing their messages aren't being logged, but this is just annoying in my opinion...

Request: Add filtering to Dashboard Logs
What I mean: Dashboard Logs at the moment are sorted by most recent, and that is it. Cannot filter on user, cannot filter on a timeframe, cannot filter on an action, cannot filter on a moderator, cannot filter on custom command etc. On a server with ours with hundreds or thousands of pages with these, being able to filter like this would be incredibly time-saving and otherwise beneficial.
Request: Be able to export Dashboard Logs to a server channel
What I mean: Similar to how other logs can be sent to specified server channels, allow the same for Dashboard Logs. In the absence of filtering on these logs, it would help us to better audit changes that have been made, have a more visible activity stream within the mod team, and help to contain efforts to the server rather than needing to go to the Dyno dashboard each time.

Why? We have over 7000+ users on our server and took an admin decision recently to only allow certain roles to be able to change their nickname. However; there is no command currently to reset all user's nicknames of your server via any bot. This would be really useful rather than having to manually change every users nickname.

What I mean: In the Auto Delete module, you can create a channel filter group, or you can delete a channel filter group. You cannot update a channel filter group by adding, updating or removing individual filters for that channel. It is a real pain when needing to add a new string or a new filter for a channel, because you have to first delete the existing channel filter group (which then puts the channel "at risk" of whatever was being deleted), and then recreate it with your changes. Obviously the more filters that channel had, the more likely mistakes will be made when recreating it.
Request: Add "One Of", "Any Of", "All Of" to Auto Delete for a list of strings for Includes/Excludes Text filters
What I mean: For example, for a single channel, I want to delete a message if it includes either of the words bicycle and chicken. I also want to delete a message if it doesn't include at least one of balloon, hula hoop and whistle. For the Includes to work the way I want, I should choose Match Any Filter. For the Excludes to work the way I want, I should choose Match All Filters. I obviously cannot achieve both requirements for a single channel. What I mean:
I believe an automatic role assignment feature based on conditions should be implemented. For example, users who have not sent any messages in the last 15 days should be automatically assigned a predetermined role.
The bot should scan all members at regular intervals (for example, every 24 hours) to determine how many messages each user has sent. If a user has not sent any messages in the last 15 days, they should be automatically assigned the role. If the user already has the role, nothing should be done. Alternatively, if the user has the role but has sent more than 10 messages in the last 15 days, the role should be removed from them.
This way, inactive members in the server can be easily identified.
I hope this can be implemented.

What I mean: currently automod violations are only temporary being deleted after 5 minutes this makes it so they are useless unless the person is spamming. Task Scheduler for Custom Commands ⏲️
What I mean:
Have a "Task Scheduler"-Module or "Extra option" in the Custom Command Editor, to be able to run Custom Commands on a scheduled basis.
- For example, have a custom command run, that removes all users from a certain role in a hourly/daily basis.
- Maybe even with the extra option to select the permissions, the scheduler should have for each command or set permission groups for different tasks.
It would be super dope to automate more, to allow for more fun/efficiency. The possibilities for this are endless, and it would make dyno even more unique in it's feature set. As i do not trust other bots with this, hence why it would be nice, to have a credible bot, like dyno, support something like this.

What I Mean: Make the SELECT PURGE INTERVAL from (HOURS) to Select a Time i.e. 12:00AM - 12:15AM. Using just the Hours parameter mean you have to set the interval at that time say if I wanted an Auto Purge to happen at 2am everyday I have to be up to set it and have to remove it to change when the Time changes every 6 months. Also Change so we can just edit instead of having to Remove and Add a New!

What I mean: per this exchange: <#community-support message> [read all of it, about 15 or 20 messages worth] it's high time to firm up how custom-command text is evaluated, and to clarify the difference (if any) between using the optional {require} directives vs. the options checkboxes at the portal. You'll see that when Pi got into the conversation, the conclusion was "we don't really know", where {} vs checkboxes, and directive ordering, and the presence of newlines or not made any difference in the correct execution of the command. Conflicts lead to "undefined behavior"?! That's crap, it shouldn't *matter* what the CC text looks like as long as the correct tokens and arguments are present, and if something's perceived wrong, issue a meaningful error somehow. {require:#channelID} doesn't even seem to work, it needs the on-server name instead, where {require:roleID} seems more reliable (but I've even seen that fail and allow command execution by users without the role).
In other words, this aspect of Dyno is notably unreliable and confusing, and both the parser and execution-stream handler AND the documentation need a thorough rework.

Request: Allow "?modstats" to offer different options for dumping related to roles rather than users.
What I mean: When dumping modstats it would be nice if we could have params for the command that allow us to specify user groups/roles and offer these stats to be viewed in separate manners. Such as when dumping modstats, instead of needing to do this user by user, it would make the entire process easier to "?modstats @/role" and then have the options to choose a "individual view" or a "total view". Individual view would dump the stats for each user in the role, almost as if you did ?modstats per userid, a page system could be used to keep space management decent. "Total view" would show the overall moderations taken by that user group, how many times a role has kicked, banned, things like that. Overall I feel like this would be a small detail to add in terms of features, its more of a 'fine-tuning' suggestion and not high in priority but in the long run it would make the process a lot smoother for those that do the management-side of discord servers.

Request: Fix "Ignored Channels" feature, let us choose voice channels as well.
What I mean: For an example there are is a bot that counts the total members and updates it in a voice channel. This channel can update frequently and Dyno has a great Action Log feature although you can't select to ignore voice channel so you won't get an influx of notifications... would be cool, thanks!

Request: Change notes to use a different date format, or provide an option for us to change it ourselves
What I mean: Timestamps may be better suited printed using the long date format (D) or a similar data driven option instead of the relative date format (R), as the relative format is often inaccurate after several months as it inaccurately rounds months and years. We rely on exact dates for our server and note keeping of users, and have resorted to writing timestamps out manually so that mobile users can make sense of the proper date. If this isn't feasible as a global change, it would be nice to at least be able to set this as an option in settings somewhere, as it would be substituting one letter when the message is sent

Request: Add a way, if possible, to differentiate YouTube videos from livestreams so that the bot can post only about videos and not streams.
What I mean: YouTube streams are also classed as videos, but sometimes Discords may have dedicated channels for streams versus video releases. It would be great if you could have LiveStreams on YT post to one area, and actual videos to another with a way to differentiate the two, and ideally, not post the completed stream as a video as well... unelss you wish for it.
