According to Tex, bots have the ability to read messages from embeds, so why not include a feature that enables Dyno to automod other bots content, with an option to only make it moderate bots in choosen channels if wanted. This leaves people the option to have Dyno take care of content posted by other bots in case people try to abuse them.

What I mean: right now, you can add multiple filters to the rule. But only one rule per channel. This becomes problematic because the logic options are to match any filter or all filter. So if I wanted a rule to delete any link in a certain channel from any user in a given role, I can do that pretty easily with the match all filters option. However if I wanted to also delete any image in that same channel, from any user in a given role. Once I add image to the filter logic. I now have to switch it to match any filter. And now the logic will delete all links and images as well as any message from that specified role. What I need to do is be able to create 2 separate rules for the same channel, one for links from a given role and use match all filters, and then another rule that’s images from a given role and use match all filters. I would also have to imagine this would be a fairly easy feature to implement. Thanks for listening and consideration.

Request: With Automod when you reach a certain amount of warnings, when you would get perm banned or just in general, if the user gets unbanned, reset the system for their warnings.
What I mean: Basically on my Discord server when someone gets 5 warnings, they get muted for a day, 10 warnings is a 1 week ban and 15 warnings is a perm ban. I think that if they get banned in general and ban appeal and its accepted you should reset their warnings because otherwise the automod won't work when they have reached said warnings again and users have to manually keep track of it which will take to long and be to annoying. What I Mean: The current moderation system only allows you to specify a reason. This means that the evidence and context related to a user's moderation case is inevitably lost or forgotten over time. Dyno should support an attachment-type slash command argument (or read the CDN link from attached images to the message command version) to allow for moderators to upload a screenshot related to the case. We want the roles removed when the user is muted via the new type of mutes because we like the new mutes, but we have an external game server and the access to that is governed by having a certain role in the Discord server.
When someone is muted in the Discord server, we'd like that to also disallow them access to the game server (which means they need to have the role removed). Removing roles when muted would solve this for us, so it should not be limited to the old muting method.

For server security, I prefer to remove Manage Webhooks from my bots after setting them up. However, this isn't possible with dyno because I can't reliably trigger every kind of log event to force the webhook creation (nor should I have to, IMO).
Instead, one of the following solutions should be implemented

Example photo of risky situation attached, if that link was malware, and I go to click on the username to ban them, I can easily click the link by accident. I don't want to have to disable links across all of Discord just to avoid risk in a couple of mod-related channels.

What I mean: For some background, Web3 and NFT servers are high value targets for phishers and scammers. Many phishing groups utilize Dyno as a front to trick users into giving away their token (this is not fault of Dyno, the Dyno website, or any other Dyno related platforms/services). If any relevant staff need more info or examples on this I an more than willing to provide. Blacklisting certain known phishing servers would be a small gesture, but significantly inconvenience phishers/scammers.

What I Mean: Currently we can’t stop people from posting huge ASCII art messages or long copy-pastas, or even just long sets of song lyrics. There’s no way to anticipate what will be sent so we can’t filter it with existing methods.
Because the Discord client lets people send pretty massive messages, I’d like the ability to limit the size of messages sent to our general chat… it would auto delete them when they get longer than a set length (character wise). See attached screenshot for an example of size allowed by Discord, but ignore the repetitive content since most of the time the text actually isn’t repetitive and that’s why the duplicate character rule won’t solve this.

Using /Purge and any of it's sub-commands should have a channel optional parameter, so that we can use, for example, /purge after (post) [channel], rather than being restricted to using it in the channel in which it's called from.
Alternatively, purge in the channel of the indicated post - I.E.: invoking "/purge after (post)" should really clear posts in the channel that contains (post), not in the channel from which the command was executed.
In my opinion, it would be more logical for the second concept to be the default functionality - it really doesn't make sense to me that it removes posts in the execution channel, rather than the post's channel..

Request: Have logs (like for auto-mod) indicate a warning that invisible (zws) characters exist in the triggering message.
What I Mean: This would be useful so when we see automod logs we can be sure that rules like the Duplicated Text rule aren’t bugged and misbehaving. I saw an instance of this where someone was warned and muted for a single word with no repeated characters and it’s unclear whether the rule is bugged or not.

What I Mean: We have users frequently immediately targeting the punishing moderator or trying to add them or harass them once they’ve been warned/muted/kicked/banned. It isn’t usually fruitful for them to get to the punishing mod anyway (except for a fight and wasted time), so it would be nice to not show who punished them in the bot notification DM. The staff member performing the action will still be known to the staff via logs, so if someone wants to complain or appeal they can go through the proper channels.

I like the slash command system, and would love to have that implemented in custom commands. I imagine each additional variable ($1, $2, etc) would correspond to another text box in the slash command preview (as you type one), with customisable text to give a title to each variable, for example: /dm user:[ . . . ] content:[ . . . ] (where 'user' and 'content' would be the custom variables).
As for ephemeral responses, I'd suggest adding a variable like {ephemeral} that can be put in the Command field, sort of like how {dm} or {respond} variables redirect the response to a different place, for example.

What I mean: When you create a custom command and it fails in something (Screenshot as an example, but it works for any kind of error) it would be nice to have a custom response there. As an idea you can add another variable in the cc as it follows:

If everything works fine dyno will run the command, if something goes wrong it will run the custom reply in the same embed format as it has now.
This will be helpful in cases than the cc has a difficult way to use it to help better to the user understanding what is going wrong. As in some cases dyno is used in non english speaking servers.

What I mean: It would be cool to be able to specify how long a dyno response would stay. For example. Some of our dyno responses are a bit too long for a normal person to read all the way through, especially someone with dyslexia or any kind of reading disorder. i left a screenshot of a poll system we currently use that was some other vary nice options like a true or false option for whether or not people can pick 2 or more options.

This is very self-explanatory, so I'm going to list the use-cases for this:
1. It's annoying to have 2 separate Moderation Bots (One Being Dyno) solely because One moderation bot has a slowmode command for free, while the other one doesn't.
2. The Only Thing that's preventing me from using Dyno as the Entire Moderation System from my server is because Dyno's Slowmode Module isn't free.
3. The Other Bot I use that has Slowmode commands for free has several other moderation slash commands that have duplicate names. Since I'm an Admin of the server, I can't remove the ability to see the duplicate commands. It would make the slash command menu much neater and more organized if The Slowmode Module for Dyno became free.

This "reassign roles/ rolepersist" topic has been brought up many many times, i do not understand why yas here at Dyno do not simply implement Rolepersist into the regular roles feature module commands. That saves Moderators from having to "rolepersist" (upon giving something like a "Jail" role, for example), and then+ having to remember to undo the rolepersist ..because.. if the person is out of jail (at a later date or time), and maybe decides to leave at a later date and also at a later date..decides to rejoin, then they will come in as the muted/ jail role (or whatever), and*** if not caught quick enough?,... the person might leave (again).. being "confused" as to what and why that just happened.
Reassigning (aka Rolepersist) roles should be Default. Another example: Not all mods are tech-savvy or can remember tons of commands, is another aspect to this.
... A mod/ staff should be able to simply use the regular "role giving' command, even for a Mute/jail role and not have to worry if the person "leaves and rejoins" ..knowing that 'rolepersist' is now Default and if they leave they will have mute / jail re-assigned.

The current range of repeat interval is 1 - 72 hours.
I'd like to be able to send out weekly announcements so at minimum could we increase the hourly range to 1-168.
Ideally it would be nice to be able to choose Hourly/Daily/Weekly/Monthly so you could set every Monday @ xx:xx or the 3rd of the month or the first Tuesday etc etc.
Reasoning
Automated calls to action where you have a regular activity planned. We'd like to be doing a regular thing every day of the week, so Mondays would be one thing, Tuesdays another etc.
Similarly we would make use of monthly messages.
I realise changing it to a richer repeating mechanism is a bit of work so upping the range of hours to 168 would be easy and really helpful.

what i mean: so it gets really annoying when i person i have set on my live messages has there stream go down a few times in a row and then dyno sends out like 4 pings to my server for that one person, having a cooldown for each live message setup means i could set it for a 2 - 3 hour cooldown so when the person first goes live it sends out the message and ping but if there stream goes down and comes back up within that 2 - 3 hour cooldown it wont send out another message or ping, this helps keep my live channel clear of spam from dyno and im sure it would help out a lot of other servers who have the same setup i do. thank you.

• Add a one-payment lifetime subscription for premium so that people who don’t feel comfortable paying monthly or yearly can just get it all and done with in one payment. I personally will buy premium if this happens;
• Separate the mute and timeout commands, because some servers prefer to have both as options. For example, I like having timeout and mute, as I use the mute as sort of a jail for rulebreakers so they can’t see the other chats, but I also like having timeouts as another option. Right now it’s just one or the other;
• Allow us to clear or edit one’s complete mod history;
• Allow us to configure the entire response one gets after being moderated in their DMs. This is a huge feature that other bots have but this one lacks;
• Add a message record system that attaches a log of previous messages in that channel to a mod log after somebody is moderated;
• Add a move command that allows us to move people to a certain channel if they are talking in the wrong one.
These are some major features I think Dyno needs to have.

What I mean: Pretty self-explanatory. Allow the normal message embedder to send embedded messages to threads and forums. Right now to get that to work one has to make custom commands and pull it up, but as that doesn't update automatically when one makes changes, one needs to pull up the message again and delete the old one. Plus having 50 custom commands just for this purpose is a mess at this point.

Currently, the maximum duration for a mute is 14 days. On my server there are people who do not want to have typing any messages anymore.
However we do want to allow them to keep reading the announcements.
It would be great if mutes for 6 months, 1 year, and even 2 years would be an option. That way we can offer repeated offenders a new chance still, but they just have to wait for it a very long time.

This is only an example and there are many other words in English and other languages that have something like this. Unfortunately it's not that it's possible for us to add it to the "block only this specific word" list because people tend to bypass the word just by adding another letter so it has to be blocked when found in any part of a word but word exceptions would allow to prevent blocking words that aren't bad but contain a bad word as part of them even tho the word doesn't mean anything bad

What I mean: Currently the auto-message module behaves as though it schedules the next message to be sent relative to the current time + N hours. This causes a slow drift away from the time you initially scheduled the first message to send. For example, we use Dyno to send a message once every 24h in a question-of-the-day channel to create a clear separation between the current day's answers and yesterday's. Every month or so we need to reschedule the auto-message because it slowly drifts later in the day each time it is sent. I feel that this could be enhanced by scheduling the next message relative to the original start time which is already kept track of.

What I mean: Discord recently changed its private thread policy so it is no longer locked behind a level 2 boosted server. Anyone on any server can now create private threads, provided they have the permission to do so set by the moderators.
My idea is an embed with an interactive button (not a reaction) that creates a private thread after a user clicks it. Dyno will then @mention the user so they gain access. The user can then mention a moderator and report an issue privately to the mod. This process may simplify handling issues in the server without resorting to DMs or a ticketing bot that awkwardly deals with the constant creation and deletion of full text channels.

What I mean: Technically, it could work like this: You lock the user into a specific "welcome channel". In that channel, there is a message posted, where the bot asks you to delete that message, the bot will give you a role that has "Delete message" right in that specific welcome channel. You are then asked to delete that message, and bot then checks that you as "moderator" deleted that message by querying moderator logs.
If you are able to delete the message, you have proven you have 2FA enabled on your account (as moderator actions require 2FA), afterwards the bot will just revoke your "deletion rights" role.
Then the bot just reposts the same message (its only 1 message visible all the time).
The message itself could have clear instructions with pictures how to right click and choose delete message.
Yes, its possible for a user to just temporarly enable 2FA to pass the verification, but such a check would make issues like Code_Sync's issue with compromised accounts less of a problem, because if you then intentionally bypass a 2FA enablement checking, then you cannot later claim your account was compromised when you get banned because you proved to the server that you have 2FA enabled and thus SHOULD NOT be able to get your account compromised.
Settings required for such a function:
Welcome channel: <channel name> (In this channel there will always be a welcome message where user is asked to delete the message. Anytime the message is deleted, its immidiately reposted). All other messages in this channel will be auto-deleted.
Role with deletion rights in welcome channel, must be higher in hiearchy than the bot: <role>
Role to gain access to other channels than Welcome channel, to be given after verification: <role>
Role to remove from user when verification is successful, to disable access to welcome channel: <role> (optional)

What I mean: For example, I currently use carlbot for reaction roles because the bot will let me use emotes from any of my servers that I have carlbot in. This makes it so I don't have to clog one server with all of the reaction emotes and can instead store them in a separate server.

Reason: RSS follows a standard. Just pull the fields and allow the user to select which ones they want to display and how often. Then build in automatic back-off until the requests stop getting rejected. All these events and decisions are logged if enabled.
Add a few display formats and your done. Since RSS can come in a few different structures, provide templates, make your best estimate, then have the user choose the one that works..
You could even get funky and have them select which of their chosen fields are actually displayed. This way you can offer a pattern match against any field in the source and only display the output they want in the channel.

I run giveaways regularly; every week & every month.
They tend to fail quite often, usually I don't complain and just start a new one and double the amount of winners (if it's normally 2 and it fails, the following week will have 4).
But for the holidays I was having 10 winners and I don't think there are enough active users in my server to justify 20 winners.
It would be so much easier if I could just see the participants and how many times they entered so I can manually announce the winners if needed. so I'm not having to apologize frequently and try to make up for the bot failing to do it's job.
This is the only feature I use from Dyno because it's the only "bot" that actually let's me set an accurate date and time as opposed to "7 days" like all the others.
I would love to throw money at y'all for Dyno Premium on several servers I own and manage even if I'm only using a single feature, but the failure rate is too high to just throw my money away for a feature that isn't reliable.

What I mean: Every time Dyno has an outage, it totally resets my nicely spaced out automessages, so instead of 6 messages each showing every 6 hours, 1 per hour, they now all show up in one solid wall of text at the same moment, once ever 6 hours, spamming the chat together.
What’s worse is spacing them back out again in time requires me to either recreate each message from scratch again (can’t clone here??), or to shorten the delay time for each message to different values temporarily to space them out, then as soon as they fire once, set them back to the 6 hour time within that immediate next window.
This is ridiculous and easily solvable. Please give us the option to make message start time based off of the offset time from a primary message. This way whenever Dyno goes down or timers get reset for some reason, all messages will always be properly spaced out from one another by default.

It would be very useful, especially for people looking for this option, since Dyno does not have it. If my head mod with permission to use the ?role command goes rogue, they can 1) give themselves an admin role or even the owner role and 2) demote any other staff member, even higher than them, at their discretion. Not based on how many messages in x time, but rather checking if the user send the same/a similar message more than x times in a row, and if that is true, trigger a punishment. Additionally, perhaps a similarity slide (matches 50-100% or something -> It would be kind of bad if just adding a single number to the end of a same message would bypass it). Maybe also another option how long the bot should store the previous messages till it resets/forgets them.
I believe this to be very useful as some people tend to be very annoying and ask the same question or tell the same story over and over but with a big delay, so its not detected as spam. Also, this would prevent bot accounts from writing the same advertisement message over and over again with a great delay in-between every single message and would make it a lot harder to bypass the spam filter in general, since you can't just "wait long enough".
How? - Have a variable "similar messages required to trigger (from now on SMRTT)" and store the in that variable defined amount of text messages per user. If the user becomes inactive store the last x (defined by SMRTT) messages for a defined time (for example max 24h).
Then just check every new message, and if it matches with the previous SMRTT amount of messages trigger a punishment.

Basically, I like to use Dyno Giveaways a lot, but sometimes I want to give perks to members with certain roles. For example, server boosters and people with level 15 can get one extra entry into the giveaway.

Description: A problem with the bot's mute role is that when the role is given via ?mute, users can easily bypass punishment by simply leaving and rejoining the server. So once the user returns, their mute role is gone and they can get away with their punishment.
The problem can be simply solved by altering the role so that when a user with the mute role leaves and rejoins, the role is given back to the user(after rejoining) trying to escape punishment.
I've seen stuff like this before with different roles so why not apply it to mutes?

What I Mean: Another potential security issue for server staff is the chance that an account of one of your moderators might go nuts and nuke your server by deleting all the channels and banning everyone. Anti-nuke features can stop mods from doing this by restricting the number of actions a mod can do(per day) to a reasonable amount. This allows your mods to still punish people in a reasonable manner and prevent them from launching nukes.

All my channels are locked behind this follower role. So when I use dynos lockdown feature, any channel that doesn't have @/everyone permissions, doesn't get locked down.
If someone bypasses the verification system, they can still raid the server. As such, id like to be able to add whitelisted roles/channels (such as moderators) and blacklisted roles/channels (for everyone else) to the lockdown system so in the event of a lockdown, there is only one channel that can be viewed by everyone but cant be typed in, and channels for moderators.
