Okay so I made an appeal for a server, I reloaded the website like an idiot. And now I can't find the appeal I made so I can wait for it to get denied or accepted.. Someone said I would see it at the top of the page but I don't see it, and when I click "status" that is the status for the website or Dyno itself.

it looks like from the screenshot you havent filled it out yet, try filling it out and re-submitting again and an appeal status should appear at the top of the appeal

if you filled it out and pressed submit then as long as you are logged into the correct account then the appeal should show the status at the top unless the server deleted the appeal on their end

its likely then something with the appeal was changed on their end. i would advised reaching out and trying to contact the server staff another way to check if they received the appeal. maybe if you have a friend in the server they can ask for you

Dyno does not show error messages if it is unable to send a warn because a user has closed DMs. We recommend you say somewhere in your server that open DMs with Dyno are required to receive moderation notices.

I've had 32 reports of users running into this screen, and I can't find any reason why

Many, many other users are getting this screen, and it repros on a fresh install of a chromium based browser with no addons, so it's not a ublock/firefox problem

However, I've tested it, and a moderator can use the command on an administrator and successfully mute them, even though the administrator has a higher rank.

Does anyone know why this is happening? For some reason Dyno has stopped showing the actual profile picture below the welcome message. Its like the link isn't an embedding properly anymore. I didn't change anything it just randomly started happening but I did notice that embed links permission was turned off on the channels permissions for everyone. I don't think this should matter since I gave the Dyno bot Administrator permissions.

We generally recommend you keep the regular Dyno in your server. That's because if your subscriptions ends/expires, your premium bot will leave the server, or your custom bot will go offline, thus leaving you without Dyno.

After you have activated and invited Premium, the premium bot will fully take over all functions either way.

Note:

If you upgraded through Discord's App Discovery page, you are required to keep the regular Dyno in your server, otherwise Discord will automatically cancel your subscription.

I had an issue yesterday where a member was timed out 6 times in the span of a few hours. It was logged by Dyno, but there is no logs about deleted or blocked messages, links, etc. I looked at auto moderation and stuff, but there all violations result in deletion of the message, not a timeout.

I am really confused with what caused this and why.

To confirm, are you trying to get x text in the description and x image URL in a image field on an embed (like the thumbnail?) or do you want the image URL + text in the description part of the embed

My reaction roles were working fine the other day now they aren't I've triple checked everything and it's all correct I even remade the entire module and re uploaded it all and everything and ran diagnostics and it says everything is functioning properly but whenever someone reacts for a role they aren't receiving there roles. I already went through the support bot stuff and all the options it gave me are either not related or everything is set up exactly how suggested etc. Is anyone else having issues with there reaction roles? Cause I've reverted back to just checking and having to give people there roles since it's not functioning properly at all for me for some reason.

If you get unbanned a staff will hopefully DM you saying you were successful, if not, they will probably have a time period of how long to know if your appeal was accepted. If there isnt, you will have to keep trying to rejoin every couple days

from the screenshots you have sent it seems that server is using a comination of reaction roles (which i showed you how to set up here => #community-support message) and also some custom command to grant and remove roles from users. an example of granting and removing roles in custom commands would be:{!role {user} +Role_Name} {!role $1 -Role_Name} {!role $1 +Verified, -Role_Name}
they most likely are also utilising the {!announce} command variable to have dyno send a confirmation message into another channel. without seeing exactly how the custom commands are set up it is hard to say exactly what they all do.

That’s because if you wanted to make the app fully private, you would need to create a custom OAuth link that works with discord

Although you cannot fully remove the add app button from the profile, you can untick “Guild Install” which will mean that no one can add it to their server, only their apps
