u can only send links to roblox GAMES/private servers in #game-channel, and NO other links in any other channels, except the mentioned above

How do i do this? I can only have 3 Links rules in automod category, but this worked fine in my old server.

you dont need automod to handle this you could just set the permissions in the channel/role overrides to give embed/image permissions to the roles you wish to have them in the channels you wish to them to be able to send them in

i can help you with automod setup if you like but imo it would be far easier just setting role permissions

going back onto this issue @orchid tide the issue is being caused because you are trying to run a mention in an embed title. that wont work

Dyno is simply a service used to moderate users, and as such, Dyno Staff cannot help you with moderation issues from other servers. If you believed you were mistakenly banned or there was another issue, you must attempt to contact the staff of the server where you were banned. You can ask a friend to do this on your behalf or see if the server has any other social media. If the server has a Dyno appeal form set up, the link would have been DMed to you when you were banned.

Hello guys I have a question about an “orange” variant of Dyno. Someone added it to our server because the classic blue Dyno wasn’t working properly. When we tried to access the Dyno dashboard we were asked to let the orange one join. I couldn’t find any information about this variant or whether it’s special in some way. From what I’ve noticed, it seems to only ask to join more populated servers

For Dyno to be able to manage or moderate any role, it has to be VISUALLY higher than the role you want it to give or remove on the ⁨Roles⁩ page of your ⁨Server Settings⁩. Otherwise, Dyno will not be able to manage users who have the role.

Note: If you have invited a Premium bot, there will be a second "Dyno" role belonging to the Premium bot!

I have a question regarding the Auto Purge module. I've been using it for quite awhile without issue, its set on a weekly basis, I haven't messed with any of the settings I've setup for dyno other than changing my welcome message yesterday, which to my understanding shouldn't affect Auto Purge. Today, Auto Purge did not activate when it was supposed to. The oldest message in the channel its setup for is 7 days old, I haven't messed with any of the settings on discords end either. The fact it just stopped working was completely random. Has there been an update regarding Auto Purge?

Looks like the Auto Purge module had a case of crashing. The times were right when I mentioned this earlier but it wasn't executing. Now checking it changed the date on "some" but also moved the time forward by 3 hours.

Will have to delete them all and re-do again. Would be nice to be able to set future purges and set as a daily/weekly repeat.

Ok, so I totally misunderstood what the auto roles do. The roles only appear and disappear when you join the server, not when you’re already in the server. Dang… I wish there was a way to make timed roles, so when a role is given, it’s automatically taken away once the set time of the role is up.

If you believed you were mistakenly banned or there was another issue, you must attempt to contact the staff of the server where you were banned. You can ask a friend to do this on your behalf or see if the server has any other social media. If the server has a Dyno appeal form set up, the link would have been DMed to you when you were banned.

I’m experiencing a strange issue with Dyno Automod and I’d like to ask whether this is a known or possible behavior.
In one of my Automod rules, all settings remain intact (rule enabled, actions, exemptions, channels, etc.), however the Bad Words list itself has completely disappeared.
Important details:
The last visible moderation/log entry is from February 8
I edited the Bad Words list yesterday via the dashboard, but that action does not appear in the logs
Today I noticed that only the word list is empty, nothing else was reset or changed
No other admins intentionally modified or cleared the list
Because only the Bad Words list was affected (and not the entire rule), I’m wondering:
Is it possible for the Bad Words list to be overwritten or saved as empty due to a dashboard/cache/sync issue?
Are dashboard edits always logged, or can some list changes fail to appear in logs?
I’d appreciate any clarification on whether this behavior is known, and if there are recommended best practices to avoid this in the future.

Hi there. For your first issue, that is a Discord setting (Send a random welcome message when someone joins the server), which appears disabled for you. The welcome module is supposed to send messages like in the picture when someone joins the server

I’m looking for a Dyno command or feature that allows staff to quickly retrieve basic Discord user information, specifically usernames and user IDs, without having to manually look them up.

Currently, I haven’t found any Dyno command that provides this functionality. I did find a similar feature in another bot (Security), but access to it is restricted to the server owner and cannot be delegated.

Discord takes some time to memorize things, if he/she is banned, you have to contact them after 1 - 1.5 days.

I can't set the bot to look in the forum channels the reactions, its not that the messages aren't being sent, they're not being sent because it doesn't let me select the forum channels where the bot has to check reactions

by default the bot will look across all channels. i just tested it myself and it works inside forum channels. you only set custom following channels for secret starboards

so if none are set dyno should pick them up in all channels

Dyno is simply a service used to moderate users, and as such, Dyno Staff cannot help you with moderation issues from other servers. If you believed you were mistakenly banned or there was another issue, you must attempt to contact the staff of the server where you were banned. You can ask a friend to do this on your behalf or see if the server has any other social media. If the server has a Dyno appeal form set up, the link would have been DMed to you when you were banned.

Discord's API does not allow bulk deletion of messages after 14 days.
Therefore Dyno cannot purge past this point. If you get an error, check if Dyno has both the Manage Messages and Read Message History permissions, or try purging a smaller number. If you would like to remove all messages in a channel the easiest way is to clone and delete the channel, all current permissions/settings will be transferred to the new channel.

People paying for premium should have the ability to request private support through tickets or something like that. Not very fair for those who are giving money and putting the effort+time in to create personal server use CCs and essentially having to be forced into sharing all their work publicly just to request support for it.

Not even less than 24 hours ago there was someone in here demanding that a code either be made or given to them. I and probably many other people who aren't lazy, aren't very interested in indirectly catering to those types of people.

Thats what worked for me when I had the same issue, I was just trying to help him. Maybe he has the same problem I had? I had the view channel for @every1 disabled and the role was not given. I set everything to default and then had to change the permissions per role and then it worked just fine.

The server I have is way smaller than his, but the same thing could apply
