Therefore Dyno cannot purge past this point. If you get an error, check if Dyno has both the Manage Messages and Read Message History permissions, or try purging a smaller number. If you would like to remove all messages in a channel the easiest way is to clone and delete the channel, all current permissions/settings will be transferred to the new channel.

At this moment, the Levels module does not support custom or "fancy" embeds design for the level up message. The Level up message notification is intentionally kept simple and isn't configurable beyond the basic messages.

However, this seems like a great suggestion for the Dyno Team, if you think this should be added feel free to #feature-requests

I am creating a reaction role. I added it to test without any rules listed and it worked fine. Removed the message/button and added text above it with the rules in it then tried to re-add the button so it's at the bottom. Now it says "Error! Couldn't send message." Bot has all the perms. i set up a starboard in my server using (https://starboardbot.github.io/docs/) bot. i recently added dyno to my server as well and would like to minimize the number of bots in my server (i.e. i would like to get rid of the old starboard bot). is there any way to transfer the starboard history from that bot to dyno? if i turn on starboard with dyno does it look at new messages only, or the entire message history?

For Privacy purposes and trying to disconnect a steam handle from discord handle I thought I would create a new discord account and use the newly created one as my main discord account then delete the old one.

It seems that a few servers out there that are powered by Dyno won't allow me to join using the new discrod account.

Any tips or pointers towards what process to follow?

If you were previously banned, you will still remain banned on your new account as all discord bans are ip bans

For Dyno to be able to manage or moderate any role, he has to be VISUALLY higher than the role you want him to give or remove on the Roles page of your Server Settings. Otherwise, Dyno will not be able to manage users who have the role.
Note: If you have invited a Premium bot, there will be a second "Dyno" role belonging to the Premium bot!

i would firstly disable the module and then check the tag list to see if they are in there. then remove them and revoke access to that command to only trusted roles in the "Allowed Roles" section.

to check who is responsible for adding them; head to the "Logs" section on the left hand side where you can see interactions with dyno and who did them. i would check Dashboard and Commands to see who made/used them

we use dyno

to track all promotions

so having the dyno bot

lower

will impact that

with higher level staff promotions

and

senior mods and head mods (in my server)

are able to use

that command

in case someone abuses their role

whatever

it may be

but

it allows them

to give themselves admin or server manager roles

which as you can understnad

is a big problem

1. Fix Role Hierarchy:
   Discord enforces role limits based on role position, not permissions.

Go to Server Settings → Roles

Find the Dyno role

Drag the Dyno role ABOVE every role you want Dyno to manage

Any role above Dyno cannot be given by Dyno

Users cannot assign roles higher than their highest role

@indigo torrent if you want to restrict the usage of the ?role commands so users cannot grant roles higher than their own there are 3 options:

• 1) like queen stated you can move dynos role down to just above the role you want to restrict
• 2) allowing mods to have "Manage Roles" permissions will mean they can only grant and remove roles lower than their highest.
• 3) if you want to use the bot and restrict access further you can do so by making custom commands to limit what roles moderators can add and remove. this is a workaround for not having to limit dyno in the role hierarchy or grant mods manage role perms, but its a slightly longer setup process. you will want to create a custom command for each role you want mods to add and remove. the command box for commands that add a role will be:{!role add $1 <@&role_id>}mods can execute it like so: ?commandName @user
  commands to remove the role would be as simple as this:{!role remove $1 <@&role_id>}and the execution would be the same

Dyno is simply a service used to moderate users, and as such, Dyno Staff cannot help you with moderation issues from other servers. If you believed you were mistakenly banned or there was another issue, you must attempt to contact the staff of the server where you were banned. You can ask a friend to do this on your behalf or see if the server has any other social media. If the server has a Dyno appeal form set up, the link would have been DMed to you when you were banned.

Hi guys, a server I am on currently has Dyno Premium. This leads to this problem with e.g. the auto responder module:
We have been using external emoji for some auto reply messages. With normal Dyno it was no problem since Dyno is on those external servers. Now with Premium, the Premium Dyno is replying and it can't use the emoji since it's not in those servers. Is there a way to set-up up Dyno that normal Dyno is still responding instead of premium one?

No, it's not possible unless you assign the blue dyno as the bot you want to use as premium (same setup instructions). Otherwise you'll need to add the emoji to your server

1. Ensure the Autoresponder module is enabled. Click Settings to add a new response.
2. For the Command/Trigger, type exactly: {*}
   This is a "wildcard" that tells Dyno to look at every single message sent in the channel.
3. Select Reaction Response as the Response Type. You can then choose up to 3 emojis you want Dyno to add to each message.
4. Under Allowed Channels, make sure to select only the specific channel where you want this to happen.

Yes. It have to be located inside the allowed channels you selected in Dyno settings. Make sure Dyno has Send Messages in thread and Read Message History, also you can implement those permissions inside the channel permissions.
