If youre getting banned by dyno, you should receive a dm with the reason.

Bot Managers

Dyno Managers have access to the dashboard at https://dyno.gg/, can create/delete custom commands and can use all commands regardless of any other settings or special permissions.

The server owner and any user or role with the Administrator permission are always considered Dyno Managers, thus you can't remove those roles.

If you do not wish to give a user admin perms in order to access the dashboard, you can add Manager Roles manually through the dashboard under Dashboard General Settings. They are considered Dyno Managers and can access the web dashboard. https://i.imgur.com/nEeoBEV.png
Manager Roles can only be edited by those with the Administrator permission. Only give these permissions to those you trust.

Hey, I don't know if this is a bug or not, but the giveaway function has a tendency to pick the same user over and over. Whatever algorithm you guys use to randomly pick a member is just.... not working. We've had the same user win a few times in a row.... And out of the three giveaways that finished today, they won two of them.

Looking for a little insight.... it seems that over the last week or so, Dyno has stopped performing automated functions on one of my servers.
It seems to be working fine on others, but just one server it's no longer logging joins/leaves, deleted messages, role assignment, etc.
I've tried removing and re-adding Dyno to the server but that has had no effect.
Anyone have anything else I should try or have a look at?

I've tried the Diagnose command and it tells me there is no issue with the commands (although they are still not working).
I double checked that Dyno has all the necessary permissions and it seems that it does.

Well I have the Welcome channel and under that is a reaction role in the Rules channel. The reaction role has to be clicked to unlock the rest of the discord for new members. The only problem is that's not happening like it should. When people join and click the reaction role, its not actually giving them the role. So I keep having to manually go in and assign every brand new member the role.

Everything was working fine up until Sunday, when the owner of the server stepped down and transfered ownership to me. I still have access to the bot panel. All of the permissions are set up correctly. The reaction role matches the role in Discord. So I cannot figure out why this keeps happening.

Theres a bug with user limit changes

Open the Dyno dashboard for your server.

Go to the Action Log module.

Check any custom log message you’ve set for Channel Updates / VC changes.

Remove any extra ** or weird markdown around the {old} / {new} placeholders so it’s something simple like:
User limit changed: {old} -> {new}

Save and test again.

If the formatting issue continues, then it’s a known Dyno logging bug. It doesn’t affect the actual user limit change just how Dyno displays it.

Dyno does not automatically notify someone when their ban appeal is accepted. When a user submits an appeal, Dyno sends it to staff, but it cannot detect when the user is unbanned or send them a confirmation message. This is because Dyno cannot DM banned users unless they share another mutual server and have DMs open. So, if an appeal is accepted, staff must manually reply in the ticket or DM the user to let them know.

Dyno Managers have access to the dashboard at https://dyno.gg/, can create/delete custom commands and can use all commands regardless of any other settings or special permissions.

The server owner and any user or role with the Administrator permission are always considered Dyno Managers, thus you can't remove those roles.

You can use the search bar in your server dashboard to find the afk module. There is no settings tab to press though, just to enable/disable the module. To manage permissions on who can use it, you can head to the Commands tab and find AFK there

The reason mutes are becoming indefinite is usually because Dyno requires a time unit in the command, and if the bot doesn’t recognize one, it defaults to a permanent mute. Make sure you’re adding units like m for minutes, h for hours, or d for days (e.g., ?mute @user 10m Spamming). If you’re using the slash command version, be sure the time field includes the unit as well. Also double-check that Dyno has proper Manage Roles permission and that its highest role is above the Muted role, since Dyno needs to remove the role automatically once the timer expires. If Dyno can’t remove the role later, the mute will appear to last forever even when a time is set. Updating the command format or fixing role permissions should resolve the issue.

Dyno acknowledges you based on certain criteria, they are organized as follows:
Server Owner
Server Admin - Administrator Permission
Server Manager - Roles added as Manager Role
