Basically a lot of the reaction role embeds now say "this interaction failed" is there a 'right' way to go about this? Do I have to delete all of them and redo all the roles but not have a single embed for each?

We use Discord to ban users, so if the user can not rejoin after being unbanned then they more then likely have an alt banned within the server. This is due to the fact that discord bans are IP based.

We are unable to assist with this as it falls onto Discord's systems and not Dyno's.

Hi! I was wondering if there was a way to receive multiple choices from a defined choose without them repeating prior choices.
That is, if I had a list that had option {a;b;c}

I would be able to use {choice} in a way that it can be done twice but also have it not be able to choose a, b, or c twice.

I was also curious if there was a way to combine lists/choose. If not, can Dyno read plain text from a page?
I also was curious if it was possible to leave comments/notes in your commands.

Hi all, have a question.

We've got Dyno Premium enabled on our server however we've noted that sometimes Dyno Regular will be the one to respond or action commands.

Sometimes, this causes issues (as shown in screenshot below) - I thought I would resolve this by simply removing Dyno Regular's view access to our bots channel, thus meaning only the Premium bot has visibility.

Since doing that however, the bot seems to have trouble responding to commands. Sometimes needing me to run the command multiple times.

Wanted to see if this was a common issue or if there's a best practice that we need to follow.

If this is normal, and it's just latency that I can ignore (or work around by re-running command til it works) - then that's fine too. Just wanted to check n see 😛

Dyno is simply a service used to moderate users, and as such, Dyno Staff cannot help you with moderation issues from other servers. If you believed you were mistakenly banned or there was another issue, you must attempt to contact the staff of the server where you were banned. You can ask a friend to do this on your behalf or see if the server has any other social media. If the server has a Dyno appeal form set up, the link would have been DMed to you when you were banned.

dyno dosnt support role syncing so there isnt a way for the bot to remove a role if it detects another one. however you could have a custom command for users to verify. you can format the custom command so that when a user runs it the command is adding the new role and removing the stranger role. if this is something you need help setting up let me know

you can create a custom command, call it "burn" and format the command like this:{!ban $1 $2 $3+}you are not required to use all 3 arguments but here is what they are doing:
$1 - the user being banned
$2 - length of time
$3+ - reason
using the arguments this way you are able to have the inputted arguments in the response. let me know if you need further assistance setting this up

that is most common for a custom verify command as most servers will have a #verify channel where users run the command. this channel will usually just have the info on verifying making the command responses being removed after execution more functional so the channel isnt flooded

For All other roles Send Messages

I'd assume it's due to the nature of the bulk message deletion.
The endpoint fires a specific event that only contains the IDs of the deleted messages, but id believe due to caching, Dyno does not fetch the messages.

I do believe some bots log the purge events but not aware of what bots.

Discord's API does not allow bulk deletion of messages after 14 days.
Therefore Dyno cannot purge past this point. If you get an error, check if Dyno has both the Manage Messages and Read Message History permissions, or try purging a smaller number. If you would like to remove all messages in a channel the easiest way is to clone and delete the channel, all current permissions/settings will be transferred to the new channel.

For Dyno to be able to manage or moderate any role, he has to be VISUALLY higher than the role you want him to give or remove on the Roles page of your Server Settings. Otherwise, Dyno will not be able to manage users who have the role.
Note: If you have invited a Premium bot, there will be a second "Dyno" role belonging to the Premium bot!
