I was recently diagnosed as autistic at 40.

For most of my life, I thought I was just “too much.” Too intense. Too analytical. Too sensitive. Too driven. Too overwhelmed. I got very good at smoothing myself out so other people would be comfortable. I learned scripts. I learned tone. I learned how to look “fine.”

Hi m!

Whenever you ban someone on Discord, Discord bans not only their account but also their computer's IP address. If someone created an alt account on their same computer and tried rejoining your server they would still find themselves banned.

Aside from that, there is no reliable way to determine whether someone is an alt to achieve this.

Support cannot see someone’s actual phone number. Discord itself can require phone verification, but regular server mods do not get access to phone numbers. That’s privacy-protected.

If someone is that committed just let them be bc they actually did all this to achieve whatever:

VPN (changes IP address)
Mobile data vs Wi-Fi switch
New Discord account
Different device

That's a whole lot of effort just to get back in things. That's commitment.
