That's not the case, it really varies based on the issue. And it's not a code issue necessarily. Some services that handle aspects of the bot are hosted separately for regular servers and for premium servers. At the end of the day, it also makes sense considering the difference in numbers between premium and regular servers (resources wise)

the only answer i can think of is the way a bot works is with shards and clusters. every server is assigned a shard and every 10 shards is assigned to a cluster. this is just so the bot doesn’t get overworked. because non premium features are used more due to them being free, they are under heavy load consistantly
