I know this is the Dyno server but it's discord centric so I'm going to complain about this here.
I'm a patron of this one person who has a discord server. The creator is no longer in the server and there is no moderation whatsoever and has a bunch of scam links everywhere. Well I left the server and discord decided to make me rejoin cause of the patreon app. I don't want to disable the app cause I like to be added to future creators servers because some of them are private servers with no link published anywhere. I guess that means I'm stuck in a scam filled server. That's really annoying.
Sorry just wanted to complain about that for a sec. No one else would understand

It's pretty dumb that the bot adds you back to the server after you leave it. I can see automatically adding you to it at first, but after you leave it it shouldn't add you back imo.

I'll probably just revoke the apps permission. All his stuff is paywalled and for the game I use his stuff on is the best there is available. I'm sure there's ways around future patron servers. That's just ridiculous it forces you back

I think thats a question for patreon. Might send them an email. When you link your accounts you give it permission to join servers for you. That makes sense because a lot of creators have discord perks with your sub. But having it make you rejoin if you leave is nonsense. What does it do if you're kicked or banned from the server? It's kind of sketchy imo.

The entire Join servers for you bot permission needs a facelift in my opinion. I rarely see it used for not malicious purposes and some people simply don’t understand it. There should be a note on a server that you were added to by a bot that says something like ‘don’t join me to this server’ and ‘deauthorize app’ that explains why you were added to that server
