🗑️ **Message Deletion Logs **

• Dyno only caches the last 10 messages per channel. This means that if you delete a message in a channel that is 11 messages up or above, Dyno will not post a message deletion log.
• Premium Dyno however will cache the last 100 messages per channel.
• If the message contains a file or embed, Dyno will not log the file or embed content, which may result in the message deletion log showing no content for the message.

Dyno will automatically change Channel Permissions for the Muted role back to for Send Messages and Add Reactions//Speak. If you wish to allow the Muted role to speak in a channel or otherwise change the Muted role permissions, you must deny the Dyno role permissions to Manage Permissions in that channel for it to work.
Note: If Dyno has the Administrator permission for any of its roles, he will override the overrides and this will not work. Remove the Administrator perm(s) for this to work.

How 2 reconfigure your Custom Dyno

1. Head to the Premium page and login if necessary.
2. Find your Custom Premium subscription (example below).
3. Click on Configure Custom Bot and carefully go through the setup wizard again!

Notes:

• You don't need to create a new application, you can use the one you already created which would be found in the Developers Portal.
• When you get asked to activate a server, you can safely close the pop-up.

Dyno is simply a service used to moderate users, and as such, Dyno Staff cannot help you with moderation issues from other servers. If you believed you were mistakenly banned or there was another issue, you must attempt to contact the staff of the server where you were banned. You can ask a friend to do this on your behalf or see if the server has any other social media. If the server has a Dyno appeal form set up, the link would have been DMed to you when you were banned.

The Tags module allows users to create, edit, delete and post tags. Tags are used to store information that can be used later on. When you create a tag, you can then call that tag with the ?tag command, and Dyno will post the full message for you in the channel.
An example would be: ?tag create bananas NoobLance likes bananas.
Then after typing ?tag bananas Dyno would post the content: "NoobLance likes bananas."

Can't rejoin after ban was revoked?

We use Discord to ban users, so if the user can not rejoin after being unbanned then they more then likely have an alt banned within the server. This is due to the fact that discord bans are IP based.

We are unable to assist with this as it falls onto Discord's systems and not Dyno's.

- Warn: Sends a warning message in the channel which automatically deletes after a few seconds. If you have Premium, you can customize this message.

You may only have one of the following options selected per filter:

- Instant Mute: Mutes the user on the first violation.
- Auto Ban: Bans the user once they reach the Violations Count.

The reason you may see all servers you are in with Dyno via dyno.gg/account is because of the way Discord handles authentication and the fact we now allow you to add Manager Roles via the dashboard.
Servers you have permissions in and edit often will appear at the top of the list, servers you cannot access will return an error. Discord may add a new method which allows us to remove the extra servers in the future.

How do I set up Automod?

Configuring The Module

1. Head to the dashboard, log in and select your server.
2. Select the Modules tab and click on Automod

• Ensure the module is enabled, otherwise Automod will not work!

3. Under Manage Default Settings select a Default Log Channel.

• Allowed Channels are channels that Automod will ignore, Allowed Roles are roles that if a user has they will not trigger Automod.

4. Select Create Rule and give it a Rule Name.
5. Select which filter you'd like to create a rule for. Selecting an option will give a description of what that filter does.
6. Edit the Custom Settings for the rule to your liking, then set the Action you want Dyno to take when that rule is triggered.

Actions

• Warn - Gives the user a verbal warning in chat when they trigger the rule.
• Delete - Deletes the message that triggered the rule.
• Auto Mute/Ban - Will mute/ban the user for triggering the rule after # of violations set.
• Instant Mute/Ban - Will mute/ban the user immediately after triggering the rule.

Permissions

• Required Roles: The user must have these roles to be affected by the rule.
• Required Channels: The message must be sent in these channels to be affected by the rule.
• Ignored Roles: The rule will ignore any user who has these roles.
• Ignored Channels: The rule will ignore messages sent in these channels.

Options

• Log Channel (Standard Premium Feature): The log channel Dyno will use for the rule (defaults to the one set under Default Settings).
• Custom Response (Standard Premium Feature): The custom reply Dyno will make when the rule is triggered.

Things To Note

• Banned Words (wildcard): Dyno will look within other words. For example with the word hi in wildcard hire would be automoded.
• Banned Words (exact): Dyno will look for the exact word only.
• Automod ignores the Owner, Admins, bots, as well as Manager and Moderator Roles.

Required Permissions

If Dyno does not have the Administrator permission, make sure Dyno's role has the following permission:

Beyond Council and Developers, our staff team is comprised of Support Team members who are the Dyno experts, Moderators to keep the server friendly, and Community Staff who focus on making the server engaging and inviting. See #welcome for some more details.

We do not have open applications or have a way to recommend someone for joining the team. All staff roles are manually given to those we deem to be a good fit based on merit after being proven an active and supportive member in our community. How 2 reconfigure your Custom Dyno

1. Head to the Premium page and login if necessary.
2. Find your Custom Premium subscription (example below).
3. Click on Configure Custom Bot and carefully go through the setup wizard again!

Notes:

• You don't need to create a new application, you can use the one you already created which would be found in the Developers Portal.
• When you get asked to activate a server, you can safely close the pop-up.

How do I setup Tags?

Tags are used to store text that can be used later on.
You can create tags using a command or by using the dashboard at https://www.dyno.gg/.

From the dashboard

1. Head to the dashboard, log in, and select your server.
2. Select the Modules tab and click on Tags.

• Ensure the module is enabled, otherwise the Tags module will not work!

3. Check the box Limit creating tags to Allowed Roles if you wish to allow only a certain role to be able to create tags by command. If you select this, you can set your Allowed Roles below.
4. Enter your Tag Name. This is the name you will use to call your tag.
5. Enter your Tag Content. This is the message that will be sent every time you call your tag.
6. Save your tag using the Add Tag button. You can now call your tag by running ?tag TagName or /tag get:.

If you believed you were mistakenly banned or there was another issue, you must attempt to contact the staff of the server where you were banned. You can ask a friend to do this on your behalf or see if the server has any other social media. If the server has a Dyno appeal form set up, the link would have been DMed to you when you were banned.
